Auntie Fungs is a small cute lil place on Bel street. We just found it while roaming around the area. Ordered the Vietnamese Pho and really enjoyed our meal. We weren’t too hungry so it was enough for 2 people. The service is quick too. Will surely go again to try other dishes!!
I had very high hopes before visiting this place. Seeing a 4.2 had heightened my expectations as well. But alas everything went downhill. The food was not at all good. Below average is my verdict.I ordered pork namprik, pork vietnamese pho and char siu siu bao.The main disappointment was the fact that they give very less meat and more of fat. Had it been the pieces were in some ratio of fat to meat I wouldn’t have minded. But here they just add fat pieces on their own and some meat pieces thrown in between.Had the taste of the food been good I could have bypassed the meat part. But the taste too was not really up to the mark. The bao was slathered with mayo!!The pho broth was the saving grace for the entire dinner. The noodles given on the pho was a very sub standard one.Overall highly disappointing dinner. slurpbite.wordpress.com
