A lovely lovely café in Sadashivnagar with food for the soul. This place had a makeover recently which is mostly in the area near the porch.A charming, cozy café is one which has a book rack, they want you to hang around, relax, have a cuppa, get lost in lala land…for a couple of hours. This is one such place. The service is friendly, charming. Food, fresh and made in house, it made us change our mind about few things – especially dishes with beetroot. The Beetroot Ravioli was one of the most interesting cold dishes I have tried. It was chilled beetroot wrapped around homemade ricotta cheese. Great presentation too.The choco Buddha bowl was so delicious combo of chocolate, fresh fruits and chia seeds. Finished in a jiffy. Our first 2 orders were exceptional, so greedily we ordered a third – the tofu bulgogi lettuce wrap. Looked beautiful but tastewise average dish. This place is also a yoga cente, has a zen feel all around the place. Highly recommended.
4.5/5JustBe cafe is a whole food based, environment friendly vegan cafe that opened in Sadashivnagar last year and I have been dying to go here whenever I had passed by this place(which is at least few times a week). They are known for serving healthy(no dairy, oil, sugar, preservatives..etc) and tasty food, which are made in-house-> rarity!Ambiance:-The whole cafe is very beautifully lit and attractive objects like cycle-rickshaw decorated with flowers at the entrance, wind chimes, Buddha statue by the tree, swing seating..etc are highlights and also the reason we didn’t feel like leaving:)-Inner and outer seating is available. We went for the latter as it was windy and serene outside and the seats were too comfortable.-There is an organic store in the cafe, where they sell clothes, soaps, hair oil, lipbalms..etcService:-As we entered, we were welcome by a host with a warm welcome and a big smile leading us to our seats.-It takes around 15-20 minutes to get what we ordered.Food:-Minestrone soup: Tomato soup with corn, capsicum, carrot..etc in it with some spices and herbs. We loved this one as it was spicier/tastier than expected and smelled great:)-Mexican fiesta pizza: 8 slices of thin crust pizza topped with jalapenos, onions, olives..etc and cashew cheese(liked it’s taste) served with two sauce. With a small appetite, I could easily have 5-6 slices and didn’t end up feeling over-full or unhealthy!-Pink Nimbu pani: Refreshing drink, which went well with pizza.Must try: Minestrone soup and pizzaConclusion:-This costed us around 780 bucks; Though it seems expensive, it’s worth it.-A great place to hangout and relax as it’s peaceful.-Will definitely visit again to try out more vegan dishes.Food: 4.5/5Service: 4.5/5Ambiance: 5/5QFM: 4.5/5
