We came here for dinner. It’s situated at the highway near Devanahalli. We were asked to wait for half an hour which later become an hour and still the manager was not sure as to how much more time it will take to get us a table. We were third in the waiting line to get the table. However, those who already got the table didn’t receive the food even till that one hour wait. We checked with the other customers and they told they ordered the food half an hour ago. It was utter mismanagement on the Owner/manager’s part. He was completely clueless about running the restaurant, knowing it’s a weekend and that there would be more customers. The bad management, the wait time and hunger really rattled our cage and we decided to go to the next restaurant which is little further from there (UP Punjabi Dhaba). The service was quick, finger licking food, ambience just like any North Indian Dhabha.

Amazing discovery! It is situated on the highway which makes it a beautiful drive/ride from the city, it can be easily located through Google maps. We were thoroughly surprised at how well the place is set up – a dhaba vibe. The seating and decor is tastefully done keeping the theme intact. Further, we were in for the best surprise when our food arrived – tasty with the perfect blend of flavors and soul satisfying on a chilly winter evening. The staff at this place were friendly and kind enough to suggest the best dishes to suite specific taste requirements, I would like to thank Vicky for accommodating our special requests. Also, their prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. This is a perfect place if someone is looking out to have some good vegetarian Punjabi food in a slightly off beat place. A must try!Recommended dishes – Chai, Mixed Pakoda, Gobi Paratha, Sarson da Saag, Sev Tamatar ki sabzi, Dal, Paneer Lawabdar, Paneer Tikka.
Best place to spend time with family and friends, lovely Ambience, superb paratas and starters. Suggest you all to visit the beautiful place. Good service and staff.
Awesome getaway for fresh air away from clutter of Bengaluru and its numerious restaurants. Open ambiance is what the USP of this place. The ‘khaats’ of a typical Punjabi north indian dhaba makes it look very authentic. Food can be improved a lot though. Overall we were not there for good food, rather long drive and natural environment and Gagan is just the place.
