Went there as looked like a good place for south indian food. But found the food to be pretty average. We had idly, vada, poori sagu and dosa. Except for dosa, we found the other items average .
South Indian fast food and restaurant chain near Nandi hills.Ambience 3.5/5 – Service hall looks elegant. Self service is also pretty well maintained. Decent place to have a morning breakfast on the way to Nandi hills.Food 4/5 – The Idli Vada sambar dip in this Udupi restaurant will make you satisfied. Good filter coffee to lit up the morning.Service – We preferred self service and the people were friendly.Overall, a decent breakfast place to stop by. travellerhoots.com
Great food, awesome location, economical. We ordered cheese masala dosa, puri, idli &vada. All items were fresh and tasted good. Butter milk was excellent. Staff is friendly.
Udupi swada which is situated near the turning to get off the highway on the way to nandi hill. The place has an excellent ambiance.Here casual dining and buffet both option are available.While coming back we took break.Was craving for some south indian cuisine.We ordered masala dosa which was good, not that impressive and set dhosa was very good.
Had lunch here while coming back from Lepakshi.Ambiance – It has a big dining hall with 2 type of siting i.e. one has sofa and other normal chairs. Quite decent ambiance big glass walls on one side high roof and modern lighting.Menu – was good with good options, it’s Veg only restaurant. We had ordered one curry don’t remember the exact name but it’s of spinach and paneer and normal tandoori roties.Service – was good and our food arrived on time no delay(it was less crowded).Taste – Curry was nice and different then normal palak paneer as the paneer used is first grilled and added to palak gravy, not too much spicy & not towards bland or sweet, roti was crisp as we have asked for the same and hot. Server served the sabji to our plate.Price was ok for a restaurant on highway and in competition with IPC, NH7 and Nandi.Parking is available and ample of parking is there. There is a pan shop and he makes decent meetha pan.Toilets were clean the cleans the seat after every use.Overall a nice place to stop for lunch, will definitely go and try other stuff there.
Got a chance to eat Idly, vada, masala dosa and roti. Taste was good. Coffee was superb. Overall a nice place to take break while long journey.
Stopped while coming back from a family outing, the food we ordered took a long time to be served , nevertheless it tasted good, there’s decent seating area as well . good for families with oldies and kids .
