An inexpensive place to have tea and snacks in Banaswadi. Lots of variety of milk tea and liqueur tea. The Irani tea is strong and good.I also had the signature Bun Nippatu masala. A crunchy sandwich. It was super!Crowd is mostly college students and office employees coming for a quick snack.
A place for many teas at a dirt price. I have been a regular here since the days of its inception, a simple stall with at least 25 different teas all at less than 30 rupees for a cup. Do not expect a cafe when you come because its a tea stall. Be sure to try all the tea varieties. There is hardly any place to sit and hangout, you will have to sip a cup standing. Its worth standing a while , you know!!!!
This is our daily Adda and a ritual since an year even this tiny stall was in OMBR Layout.Currently this place is next to Sri Chaitanya School and SRR Kalyana Mantap. He sells the best Irani tea in the area and always bustling with people sipping on of the 30 odd flavors he caters to.He even has some summer cooler options like lassi, buttermilk, lemonade and Kullad.I would recommend the lemon mint chai or the cinnamon black tea.He also has 2 tiny tables with local and English newspapers.P.S. This place is closed on Sunday Evenings.
