Saffron is a pretty decent vegetarian restaurant serving quite the flavourful (and different kinds of vegetarian cuisine). The range of the menu mostly have north Indian delicacies. We tried the daal, tandoori roti, khichdi (served with dahi) and malai methi. Quite a flavourful combination!
I have been here several times. This is the only decent vegetarian restaurant around ramamurthynagar/Banaswadi area. Staff is very courteous. Food preparation and taste is good, even Chinese and Mexican. They also have a nice spread of salads. Food is a bit on the spicier side though.

Have been to this place couple of times and it has never disappointed me..During Navaratra when you can only have vegetarian this is The Place when you are in Banaswadi Area and that’s what happened yesterday :)..This place is located on the road opposite to Federal Bank next to Tamarind Restaurant..There is not much of parking available nearby but it’s completely worth if you are looking for some amazingly yummy vegetarian food..There is a staff on the reception who is super active and have a smile on his face who allocates you seat inside..Overall most of the staff are friendly and courteous and the service is good.We ordered achar paneer Tikka in starter which was served as a sizzler and was tangy and yummy and really spiked our appetite..We ordered laziz kumbh, a mushroom maslaa item in main course which too was spicy and yumm..The portions were pretty decent and completely worth every penny you pay..we also had lassi and jal jeera which we didn’t like much..Overall the restaurant is very clean and hygienic..The neat and clean water jugs have mint leaves inside which makes you feel comfortable even if you are not ordering a mineral water..Overall it has been a very good experience whenever I have been here..Highly recommended for vegetarians..Do try their sizzlers and pasta which too are quite yum..good going Team Saffron:)
Visited saffron a couple of times.Good ambiance and responsive staff. Went to the paratha festival,that happens every year. Tried chole chaat and pav fondue (picture inserted)for starters.Both were really tasty. Parathas were also good. Overall nice experience. Will visit this place again.
