  I ordered aloo posto and chicken curry from this place. Instead of alu posto I got aloo dum. Chicken curry was okayish. Aloo dum lacked flavor. Not ordering again.

  Well,I have been ordering from this restaurant quiet a few times now..While searching for some bengali food came to know about this place..Simple dishes like dal,aloo bhaja,beguni,chicken kosha taste pretty good..But Mutton thali was disappointing..smell of raw masala, uncooked mutton..Overall not that bad!

  On 24th of June we have ordered 1 katla thali and 1 rohu thali from this restaurant. You know when you are outside Kolkata these kinds of food joints save you from being home sick. Specially I want to mention the daal in both the thalis. The taste of the daal was very delectable. The tastes of the fishes were not so awesome but they were fresh and taste good. Apart from this the thalis contain potato fry, salad, papad. Overall I liked the food and it’s quantity.

  Had been to this place couple of times. Fish is damn good here. If you love fish try out this place. Had tried their thalis, fish fry, chicken kassa, luchi, chola r dal. Everything is good.But when u order online, it won’t be same like what they serve when you eat there. Ordered Fish curry and roti.Worst food ever had. All were spoiled. Fish was not fresh and curry was full watery and no taste at all.Roti also not fresh. Seems 3/4 days back they made it.Very disappointed.Should improve food quality in online delivery.

  Ordered luchi and kosha mangsho through Zomato here and I have to say that it is the best luchi mangsho I had anywhere in Bangalore. Luchi had very less or close to no oil whatsoever and tasted delecious. Now, coming to the main attraction – the chicken curry and kosha mangsho.Chicken curry was delecious and it was cooked exactly the way a Bengali style chicken should be cooked. And we Bengalis taste the chicken to see whether the curry made its way inside the chicken or not, that’s where the taste buds are being tested. And yes, it did in this case.Next, kosha mangsho – needless to say it was just outstanding. At one point of time, even though I was full, I just kept eating.It’s time now to try out more dishes from this place. Hopefully, the other dishes are equally good and to every Bengali who loves luchi and kosha mangsho, please take out some time to order from this place and give a thumbs up to this comment if the food lived up to my review.P.S. I’m telling this after tasting luchi and mangsho from bhojohori manna, oh Calcutta and Esplanade.

  Ordered loochii, aloor dum, chicken , chholar daal with coconut and sweets. The loochii and chicken curry as well as the daal wwere simply heavenly. Loved the taste. The service was pretty quick, early in the morning and the food served was piping hot!!! The taste was like home cooked food. Ordering it early in the morning and its prompt delivery really made our day. Had a wonderful breakfast. Thanks to Best of Bengal!!!!! The price was very affordable and the quantity served ( the portion amount) was more than enough. We were Satisfied.

  Simply horrific! I generally do not give such harsh reviews but I have to do here. I ordered a chicken curry. Firstly, authentic bengali chicken curry doesn’t use whole spices to the point where u can feel them in your mouth. I could feel ginger, garam masal garlic , the curry was grainy and horrible to taste. I had to throw away the curry. It was inedible. Please use authetic bengali cooks or cooks who know how to cook the cuisine. This is pathetic
