A very nice place for buffet serving North Indian and Mughlai cuisine. They have an extensive spread of both veg and non-veg items and a decent dessert spread. The ambiance is classy, andd they have indoor and outdoor seating. The starters and soup are served at the table. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is also good. Definitely, a must visit.

Masala Mandi is a new place that has come up in Sarjapur offering authentic North Indian -Mughlai- Awadhi style buffet to its customers. I visited the place on Sunday and have the below observations to share.AmbienceThe ambience is simply stunning. Entire place has a royal feel to it ( check the pics) There is a separate counter for mocktails and chaats. They also have an outside area with some comfortable swings. Plus there is a small fountain as well.FoodComing to the main focus area, it would be difficult to talk about all the items, so below are the mentions of what I particularly liked and would recommend.Starters :In veg, tandoori brocolli was good ( you hardly get it in buffet) , malai paneer tikka was tasty and the corn tikki was crisp and yummy. In non veg, I liked the mutton seekh kebab and chicken tikka. They also have chicken wings, prawns and fish on the grill. Also there were 4 types of chutneys – mint, tamarind, beetroot and tomato. A good addition. There was a chaat thali as well which had an assortment of chaats – pani puri, papdi chaat, dahi bada, ram laddu, alu chaat. Enjoyed them immensely.Main Course :Veg : Dal fry and dal makhani were good, paneer was also tasty, chole were just ok, sarson ka saag was delicious.Non veg : Lal maas and butter chicken were the standout dishes. I also quite liked the chicken biryani, it had less spices and was big on flavours.Desserts:The desserts section was pretty good. Shahi tukda was superb, moong dal halwa was warm and just melted in the mouth, malai roll was also really good, ice creams were rich and tasted delicious, I really liked the chocolate one. There were numerous other options as well.Apart from this , tried couple of their mocktails also. Recommend the bartender’s special, which had a bit of chilly & spice in it. Do try it if you can take spice and some kick in your drinks. The guava cocktail was also pretty good.Finished off the meal with a fire paan.Overall , I was quite impressed by the place. Service is good & the ambience is stunning. Desserts are their strong point. Mocktails complement the food well. Recommended.

A lovely fine dine touch to the place, polite and friendly staff that is clearly overloaded on weekends but still manage to smile and go about their work. Options on the menu are elaborate and diverse. The barbecue was genuinely great, both in terms of variety and quality of taste. If heading out for a weekend lunch, please do reserve ahead of time! A must visit place.

Masala Mandi is the must try buffet place in Sarjapur!! The first thing which you see as soon as you enter the place is a small fountain, followed by beautiful blue theme of the restaurant. Food kept in big copper vessels gives a royal touch the place. I can’t wait to take my family to this place. They have hanging chairs in one of the areas, for you which you will be needing a reservation. Talking about the food: Drink: We were welcomed by a refreshing drink, which was so good that we tried multiple mock tails from the place, my personal fav was cucumber tricks. Very refreshing drink made with fresh cucumber. Dragon tricks: for all the jamun lovers Mango mariana: A mango icecream float drinkStarters: *MUST TRY* Malai paneer : one of the best malai paneers i have ever had. Ask for the extra malai if you are a fan of this dish. The cottage cheese was so soft and the consistency of the cream was just amazing. Dahi k kabab was super sweet, and needs a little improvement. Makai cheese rolls : Not very oily, fll of cheese and lovely to have in the starters. Mutton Seekh kabab : This was again very delicious other starters which i tried were lehsooni jhinga, peshawari moorgh tikka. Surprisingly i was repeating veg starters more than the non veg ones. You will get grill at your table and multiple options to choose from. CHaat corner: They have a dedicated area for the chaats, dont forget to try your favorite chaats from the area. They have kachodi chaat, tikki chaat, kachori poori etc and everything was drool worthty. *People on diet* : They again have a dedicated salad counter, so don’t be aftaid and visit them 🙂 Main course: If you have been to a north indian wedding, you are going to et the same flavors over here. What an amazing platter. I loved the mixed vegetable, kadhi pakode, pind de chole in vegetarian items. We ordered a bread basket and had kulcha and garlic naan. in non veg chicken butter masala and garlic naan was my favorite. Desserts : Hot Gulab Jamun : I clubbed the same with some kulfi and the experience was just amazing Shahi Tukda: Very crisp and perfectly sweetened. Add rabri to the same and enjoy the best closure Malai roll : Was dissapointed with this dish, as in place of malai, i saw bread was used, which really ruined it Rasmalai : Very watery, needs lot of improvement Kulfi: The kulfis over here are just amazing, customize it with gulkand, cherry etc and just feel the best ending 🙂 Summarizing this is one buffet place which you will wish to visit again and again. All the best team Masala Mandi 🙂

Had been to Masala Mandi for brunch on a Monday. Ambiance is elegant and rich. It has separate chat counter, has a mocktail bar, dessert counter, paan counter and in the middle is a pool. It has outdoor seating too. Despite being Monday, place was filled with corporates. For those who work in Bellandur and sarjapur, this is a great place for buffet.Started our meal with chaats which included, Dahi puri, pani puri, bhel puri and what not. Moved on to grilled paneer, grilled pineapple, potatoes and gobi. Orange and mint mocktail was refreshing. Tried mushroom cheese balls, corn Tikki, peanut Tikki and few vadas.Moving on to main course tried good number of subzis with assorted breads and rice. I have to tell you that their breads are soft and delicious. It was a great meal.We ended the meal with Jamoon, Rabdi, rasmalai and few more desserts. Overall it was a great buffet with good number of tasty options.
