  Rabdi was substituted with moong dal halwa.Pav bhaji wasn’t even close to tasting authentic.Samosa chaat was more like a mixture with no spice or salt.

  First my review i given 4* now today i give 2* because of food, we order rice nd rajma and chicken meal and chaat. But rajma taste of very bad, its like only masala is there i didn’t see rajma, otherwise staff is good..

  I was in India after a long 1-year overseas stay and I had an absolute pleasure enjoying this beautiful chaos. I have tried all sorts of food from mom’s homemade food, street food, marriage party food and when I was in Bangalore for 3 days all of my old memories about doing restaurant reviews flooded my mind. I called up Mr. Prateek one of the founders of Mealbox Inc and requested for arranging a food review session. I know Prateek ever since he started his old ventures, good to know it’s all doing great, Yumlok, Maa Bhook Lagi and The Paratha Company. The Mealbox Inc is in a tie-up with the OYO Rooms, India where ‘flagship’ OYO properties will be having a restaurant unit which is labeled as ‘Mealbox Inc’. I and my friend Kiran Kumar Malnad we were invited by Prateek to one of the OYO Properties in Marathahalli and this is what happened.We reached around 2:30 PM in the afternoon and the place was pretty much empty. This is obvious because there will be fewer guests in the hotel room during that time of the day. And, to be honest, it was way past lunchtime. The ambiance was neat, nothing fancy about the place. People usually order room service and that explains that. The service was absolutely delightful. The staff was friendly and he even made sure that we get the order right. We ordered French Fries Chaat, Gobi Paratha, Fulka, Shahi Paneer, Rabdi Lassi, Dry Fruit Lassi, and Shahi Thukda. One surprising this was, the Lassi comes as a complimentary drink and I wish this was the case in every restaurant rather than the plain water, just for me. Haha. Like other restaurants, the food quality at Mealbox Inc was absolutely good. It was very delicious and has a secret ingredient which gives it a homely touch. If you just want to know about the food, then it’s a 4.5/5. You can go ahead and skip the rest of the review. To have an in-depth review;French Fries Chaat, a bit spicy for my taste buds, a perfect combination of western and desi tastes. The Dry Fruit Lassi and Rabdi Lassi, anything with ‘Lassi’ in it are my favorites and this definitely too. Gobi Paratha was delicious and was served with curd. I don’t know how to explain this but, it tasted more like a homely food rather than restaurant food. The amount of filling was equal to the portion of the dough. Fulka was very soft but, not very puffed up. We had Fulka with Shahi Paneer and it was good. The Paneer was not at all chewy and it was cooked to perfection. I could taste the freshness in the Paneer chunks which tells it was not reheated or microwaved. The curry quantity was more than enough for two people. And for the dessert, we had Shahi Thukda. OMG! it made an explosion in my taste buds and at that point, I know, a perfect finishing touch. Dear Mealbox Inc, me and my friend were very happy after lunch and thanks a lot for the lunch invitation. We wish you the very best days ahead and can’t wait to visit again.

  Its a nice place, the food and ambience both were good. The chat especially is very delicious. I tried aloo tikki chat and bhalla padi chat and both were nice.

  Newly opened restaurant inside oyo meredian suites hotel in Marathahalli. This place is certainly a saviour if looking for budget friendly place with really good food. Ambiance is minimal with lovely seating arrangement.Their menu has wide range of chaats, quick bites and thaali combos. We have tried some of the chaats and quick bites here.We started with dry fruits lassi which was perfectly prepared. Lassi was thick and lots of dry fruits in it made itAloo samosa and dahi Bhala chaat: prepared well with lots of spices and topped with dahi. Raj kachori chaat was okaish and something was missing in it.French fries chaat was very different and unique. Chaat prepared from crispy french fries with perfect blend of spices.Pav with pakode was okaish. Pakode was nice and crispy and tasted yumm when tried with chutney.Pav bhaji was really nice. Bhaaji taste good and cooked perfectly with proper blend of masala.Aloo Paratha was amazing. Prepared with lots of aloo stuffing, but there is scope of little improvement.Rabadi is the perfect end of meal. It was creamy and prepared well with perfect amount of sugar.Overall nice experience. Service was little slow but staffs were very polite and respectful. Must recommended for having some great chaats and combo meals. Online delivery also available on Zomato, swiggy and Uber eats.
