By far the worst possible buffet. Horrible food for the price you pay. Service is pathetic. I am sorry but that’s the reality. Please visit at your own risk.
Monsoon Kitchen is another good restraunt in RMZ Bay. It has a very good open space to host buffet and is ideal for team lunches.Ambience gives a spacious feel, with no frills decor and its daily buffet is tucked against a wall. Food spread is good and is more biased towards non-vegetarians. Salad options weren’t many but starters were really good. We tried gobi manchurian, paneer and tandoori chicken. All were delicious and you could easily have another helping. For maincourse, I tried fish curry. Basa fish was fresh but it did not cuti it for me.Staff was very courteous and prompt. And overall it was a good experience. Food – 3/5Cost – 4/5Service – 5/5Ambience – 4/5Overall – 3.5
Worst dining experience ever. Not much choices for veg – 1 mix veg curry and 1 daal. Soup was cold and dull. Pathetic starters – limp gobhi manchurian and half-cooked potato roast. Pasta salad and dahi vada were inedible. Pedestrian desserts – generic chocolate pastry, rubbery rasgulla, and cheap icecream packets. Service was non-existent. Will never go back again.
We had arranged for a team lunch for a customer visit. We chose Monsoon Kitchen mainly because it was the only place with a buffet option in the vicinity. Located in RMZ Ecoworld makes it a good option for many corporate lunch/dinner events. This place qualifies to be just ok, where you are stuck because of lack of other options. Buffet cost was a little more than 500 per person and didn’t include any beverages. We had asked for a few alterations in the spread but everything was quite chaotic when we reached there. The crew doesn’t even seem to understand simple instructions given in English and were mostly roaming around with a lost expression on their faces. We had asked for a mixed veg dish in place of aloo capsicum. They somehow managed to get the dish up in time but had no idea when and how to serve. They started serving it while people were still at their starters. There was no mutton or fish options in the non-veg spread. Vegetarian items had paneer and a mix of north and south indian options. No biryani either. The paneer starter and one of the chicken starters were okay. Main course had no distinct flavor. Vegetarian dishes still seems a little better than the non veg options. Desserts were equally bad, which included a tasteless gulab jamun, an ice cream and two pastries. We had asked them to include a virgin mojito, at an additional cost of around 100 bucks, which also wasn’t up to the mark.I recommend to avoid this place for team events as much as possible.
This place serves some decent food and also budget friendly. But I was somehow not happy with the dishes in buffet. But just a good place to just fill your tummy ..be prepared to have no mutton or fish gravy in the spread out
Not good food. Only one veg curry. Staff are very rude. When asked if you can get another veg curry the ans is eat with sambar and assorted vegetables. When we were having food they got us the finger bowl. And we had the whole place for ourselves.
Our company arranged a special lunch buffet for Dasara celebrations. The place is fine, but the attitude of the staff and quality of food was just not up-to the mark.Starting with the starters:Paneer tikka: did not have any marinate and was kept in the tandoor for just 5 mins I think. Felt very raw.Shakarkandi starter: it had so much salt that it had turned bitter. Surprised how come the chef send such a dish to be served. We mentioned it to the restaurant manager to please replace it but she did not bother. It was still lying on the table. Khata meetha kaddu: It was neither khata or meetha. Being a North Indian I know how it should taste. Bad really bad.The other things were just ok. The sweets had flies over them and insects on the plates. If you are planning a team outing here, make sure you check the food quality. I would never go here for sure.
