Use to be a very frequent visitor almost. Everyday, these guys were also served in our company as a vendor. The quality has gone drastically, even the taste. Seems nobody bothered to maintain it now. I miss their quality and tasty food
Value for Money and Tasty Food.We frequently go this place, meals are good and complete paisa vasool 🙂 Go if you want to have a tummy full traditional mess type lunch.
A wise man once said that a month’s salary is actually valid for the first week after which, your savings account and the infra on orr are almost the same – nothing to talk about at all!!So how do you manage a decent meal that doesn’t have you eating from a place where the flies and you share a plate??Try these guys, they don’t boast a super menu but, show consistency in service and quality of food. You can bring in your female friends also as the place is neat upstairs.This review is about their thali and gongura chicken.Their pappu (dal – tomato or spinach or others) are amazing, their rice is fresh and served hot. There’s the sambar, rasam also which is good. The other accompaniments are one dry Veg Fry and a curry. Their pickles which are on most tables won’t send you to the moon (not rocket fuel) and are tasty. Try their rice with their ghee which isn’t dalda from what the owner told us.For inr 70 a plate you get served LITERALLY! I’ve till date not had a stomach upset nor a bad after effect.Their gongura chicken is good – it may look like the red of planet Mars but isn’t that spicy. Try the chicken with their pappu and rice with ghee.The dry pepper chicken is also good.Their curd isn’t the packaged type and made fresh.A good or bad week, come Friday – this place is packed for lunch.If you’d like, try their carriage meals – one is good for two people.If you do think they are spicy, buy a bottle of water rather than the jug which they insist is from an Ro.Cheers!
Decent meals at budget price, their Hyd biryani is also good. Not a fan of their non-veg side dishes and curries. Egg omelette is a good pairing for meals than any other side dishes.
Perfect place to have authentic andhra meals with right mix of the ingredients and spicyness. Though the place is little clumsy in terms of the parking area and being exactly on the verge of service road but yet it is the crowd thronging place for the best andhra meals. This place is situated exactly besides the cessna business park (towards marathalli). They have two floors including the ground floor completely dedicated only to the mess seating. On the ground floor, the gap between the tables irks you in terms of movement but that is the way a mess operates – not leaving any gaps between the seats and STOMACH.Ambience – not only this mess, if you go to any mess the ambience can be ignored by default. Nothing much to value add.Food – it is served on banana leaves ( which is my favorite) and few chutneys and then comes major part – Rice with gun powder+ghee+ pappu+avakaya pickle. Nothing can beat this combination. Service is absolutely solid fast, no need of shouting asking for something unlike in a typical mess.Cost factor – blindly pocket friendly with Rs.70 being charged for a full meals.
A no nonsense place where you get authentic andhra meals, The taste is good and the variety of pickles, chutneys are great. One thing missing is they dont serve roti’s but that is because Andhra cuisine is more focussed around Rice.
