Happened twice.. the bakery mixes new and old stuff and deceived us. Out of 4 or six pieces of cakes or puffs, they place the fresh pieces on top. When we went to complain and get a refund, the lady was extremely rude and thrust the cash as if we had done something wrong!
This place is the hidden gem in sarjapur road, one of the best and fresh puffs I have ever had, the aroma and freshness itself tickle your bud to try them all. The Arun ice creams which they sell is one more usp
A very classy, reliable bakery that we always go to for fresh bread and other snacks. The oven baked ‘khari’ is simply the best. Not expensive.
I’m extremely thankful to the team of tastebuds for their excellent service for an urgent party order we required some time ago, the party boxes were sent on time, tasted amazing and the entire experience was very seamless, they had a wide variety of choices and the box was made well within my budget! This number will forever remain in my contacts for any future orders! Kudos to Gopal and the entire team!
Life has been very difficult since this eatery opened an outlet in our building. Apart from being harangued by the kids – they can’t miss a single thing – its been very tough on my waistline too. You just can’t stop at a bite (and my kids insist on sharing with me) when you get something from Tastebuds. All their products are freshly made and deserve a mention in the Hall of Fame. The puffs are excellent, the pastries are melt in your mouth n incredibly fresh, the cakes are so wholesome and yummy, the sandwiches, vada pav, baked nippattu etc are deliciously spicy and filling. And most of them are low on the guilt factor, as far as bakeries go. Apart from their regular fare, their cutlets, lasagna and chicken pot roast are to die for. Have to mention Meena’s misal pav, dry fruit halwa and seed bread too. Co founder Gopal guards his pot roast recipe like a genie, hope to get it out of him one day! This is also a bakery with a social conscience and avoids the use of one time disposables in their packaging. Do give them a try. Ye DIL maangega more!
A very sweet little place set up by the side of the street off Sarjapur road. The look itself is very sweet and it has a lot of sweet and salty thing to offer. It would have been better though if there was arrangement for seating as well.
One of the best kept secrets on Sarajpur Road. This is a little bakery which is tucked inside so may seem a little off the beaten track initially. We have been regular customers here for 3 years. What we get most often from here are the breads just to die for, absolutely fresh and genuinely brown bread with toppings of a variety of seeds. If you go in the evening you get the hot loaves and then have to wait till they are cooled to be cut. How cools is that. The bakery itself stocks a few items but anyone who plans a party or wants to have good catered food please just call the owner Gopal. We have been ordering cakes from him regularly. Tastebuds makes delicious cakes with fresh seasonal fruit. I recently got a fresh apple and walnut cake which my daughters friends just gobbled up. We have also tried fresh orange, fresh mango and a mithai cake that goes very well with Indian food. The additional really nice thing about Tastebuds is that they home deliver in areas around Sarjapur. If I ask them to deliver at 12 noon by the clock at 5 minutes to twelve the delivery boy will be at the door. No follow ups or reminders needed at all. Something which is quite rare. Keep it up guys. Great bakery, great service. Please dont grow too big and lose that fresh, bakery and personalised service charm.
