Great place hidden on the bylanes of Commercial Street for chats, sweets and snacks. This is a very old place and most of the old Bengalureans knows this place very well. I love their chats, which is better than any other place near Commercial Street. Their Gulab Jamoon is awesome (similar to a popular Bengali sweet – ‘Lyangcha’) . And the prices are economical too when compared to other popular shops.Must visit if you are hungry and want to have some snacks while shopping at Commercial Street.P.S. – Don’t judge by the approach, the approach might be little filthy but the shop is extremely clean and hygienic.
One of the best sweet shops in Bangalore. The shop is in a narrow lane away from Commercial street and it is sometimes difficult to locate- I admit I got lost a number of times while trying to locate the shop. But the sweets available are totally worth the effort. I frequently use to buy sweets from there for any occasion and my parents still ask me to bring sweets from there when I travel home to Assam.

One of the oldest place in Bangalore, I have been visiting this place from my childhood. They have best savouries. Must try place if you are a foodie. Very economical as well
Don’t be deceived by the external appearance of this Sweet shop. It is located on a narrow busy road, 2 streets away from Commercial Street. You have to weave through many gallis to finally reach there. But once you do, its heaven. The chaats are extremely tasty and the portions are quite large. One Bhel Puri can easily be shared by 2 people. My favorite sweet here is Gulab Jamun. It is made in a sausage shape and is very succulent and tasty. Overall, a place you must visit every time you go shopping at Commercial Street.
