Curries and Pickes is a take away only restaurant chain. One of it’s branch outlet is located nearby my home. I have been taking the biryani parcels from this place quite often. Whenever, I have a strong biryani craving and I am not in a mood to travel or wait for the delivery, I just come here and get my biryani packed.The biryani is of Hyderabad-style and can be customised as per your taste buds. I prefer to have midly spiced biryani so I always tell that in advance. However, they don’t have a kitchen at this outlet. They have a central kitchen and they get the food from there. In this outlet, they just heat it in microwave and give it to you. Taste of biryani and the quality of rice used is above average. One portion is enough for a person with high appetite.They also have some starters and I have tried their prawns, pepper mutton, and lemon chicken. I personally didn’t like their mutton or chicken starters. Their prawn starter is very good and I had a prawns biryani in which they added it to the regular biryani rice.

I have had hyderabadi biryani at other famous restraunts.I recently went there , you can smell the aroma of spices. It’s so spicy.the flavour reaches to a next level. It’s definitely a must-try item to have it from this restaurant. Their Egg biryani is also too good.
