dry veg was stale and smelling bad. paneer curry was like sugar syrup. dal had more salt
I used to alternate between the roti combo and the meal. Costed around 70 to 90 at that time, but it was a pretty decent meal for everyday. This was a place to get a lunch while at office (which you want to avoid the office mess facility/canteen). Arrive early to get a seat.Service was good in my opinion. The owner/manager is a good guy.Based on 2013 to 2015 experience.
Colleagues frequent this place for lunch on a daily basis and I tagged along with them on a weekday. We were lucky enough to get a table as soon as we entered as this place has a waiting of 15 mins min every day post 1.15PM or so. You can forget about the ambience,decor and aesthetics aspects at this place.Food is mainly North Indian and more like home made stuff. One big plate each full of onions and fried green chillies is passed around which are basically taste enhancers according to your preference. The chapatis are medium sized, light and soft. Rice was also well cooked and the quantity is perfect for 1 person.Dal Makhani – well cooked dal with a small dollop of cream on top. Not very spicy and perfect dish to order with any kind of roti.Paneer butter masala – A bit on the sweeter side though. Could be a little spicy as well without compromising on the sweetness.Chilli Gobi – One of my colleagues’ regular order this! Was surprised to know that a Chinese item would be done so well in a North Indian joint. Spice and salt amount were perfect!All the above dishes will be sufficient for 2 people. Drinks – We got sweet lassi and buttermilk. The sweet lassi was medium thick and quite tasty and the buttermilk was a little spicy with a flavorsome tempering in it. Both the drinks were refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal.Bill came up to 1100 bucks which is about 160rs/head. They also have set meals which you can go for. Cleanliness is an issue which needs a lot of attention. Nevertheless,a good option in the vicinity of Bagmane Tech Park for inexpensive and tasty North Indian home style food!
Value for money, if you are opting for home delivery. Quantity of food is decent. But taste wise it lags behind. A little improvement in taste, will make a big difference.
Good food with this range..I have ordered from fasoos, freshmenu both are waste of money..but kakaji is really best!!!Thanks to kakaji..guys please don’t go for fasoos and freshmenu, both are looted my money and delivered worst product ever I had..I think zomato should removed this type of worst restaurant from their database.
