Well didn’t expect a Bada to be of ₹24. But anyway, I ended up eating 4 of them. This is more like a Fast Food stall but only inside a building. The food was good and also the place is well maintained (Clean).
I landed up here a few days ago at lunchtime. Since I needed a quick lunch, I ordered their mini thali which is a steal at just 35/- Rs. But that’s about it. The thali includes white rice, sambhar, rasam, some sprouts, buttermilk & a papad. The rice & sambhar combo was good. The rasam was a little bit insipid. The buttermilk was watery & even didn’t have any salt in it. So go here, only if there’s nothing good to eat in the neighborhood. The plus point is that this darshini is clean & the food is served piping hot, but they need to improve on the taste.Yes, I will be back to eat here. But if there’s nothing else available to eat next door.Taste=2.5*, VFM=2.5*.
A Decent South Indian restaurant or Darshini, which serve decent food and located in Avenue Road. I visited here a couple of times and experienced good breakfast. Its a standalone restaurant, however its little congested to eat on high tables. The food quality and taste is consistent during both the Visits. I really loved the South Indian Pulao & Puri Saagu. Prices are reasonable and recommended if you are in Avenue Road. bangaloreepicure.com
