One of the most underrated hotel in Bengaluru. This hotel has been serving lip smaking dosa since a pretty long time. The dosa over here is unique since they stuff Sagu instead of the traditional potato palya and hence its name Sagu Masala Dosa. Must try.
Had been there based on my friends suggestion. It really took us some time to go through the narrow lanes of balepet, but it was worth the struggle. The masala dosa and pumpkin / kashi halwa was great. People who are planning to visit should be aware o very limited parking space around this place
This place is in Balepet.. to start with, please don’t take your car to this place as there is no parking space available for four wheelers in and around.. now coming to the place, it’s an old style hotel which gives you a nice feeling when you enter.. the Masala dosa is crispy and thick as well.. it’s very tasty.. they also are popular for sagu dosa, though I am not a big fan of it.. other dishes seems to be above average.. it’s surely a must try for dosa lovers.. forgot to mention the coffee, it’s perfect..
A traditional Udupi style hotel in Chickpet. Knows for the Masala Dosa, Khara Bath and Rice Bath. In case you are around during noon, don’t miss the Udupi style plate meals. The sambar and Rasam are a delight. Sweet lovers try the Badam Halva. The ambience is rustic, usually crowded and you will get the best of service.

A vintage food joint in heart of the city serving some of the best south Indian cuisine. A differentiating factor is that they serve no onion no garlic sambar which makes it lucrative for people who do not eat these. Tried their idliz vada, dosas and kesri bhat and everything was yumm.
