Maziga follows the concept of a casual style cafe and dining experience with a Modern Indian cuisine menu that brings old Indian favourites, but with a twist. It is a first of its kind from Singapore. It creates an innovative Indian dining experience in a trendy and fun environment. Even though the vibe of this place is very modern, the menu still consists of traditional Indian dishes!Special mention to the Tulsi & Sarsowali Cod Fish Tikka, Oven Roasted Maahi, Dal Makhani & Coconut Jaggery Ice Cream. However, one dish that really stood out for me was the Haldi Wali Kulfi. It had nice and subtle Haldi flavour and it wasn’t too sweet yet it had the perfect creaminess and consistency of a Kulfi.Food: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Service: 4/5
I’m really disappointed with this place for the price they charge their guests. It’s ridiculous, there’s no freshness in the food and please do not order the ‘somewhat butter chicken’ they served. The meat was old and too hard. I seriously am disappointed for the 3000 bucks i paid for a starter, gravy, lassi drink and a naan basket. Not coming back. Its not clean, I’m surprised to even see a rat running around in the dinning area.. i freaked out and just paid and left. There must be a heath inspection in this restaurant. It’s dangerous. The food must improve to its ultimate purpose of what’s been portrayed in the menu. All the best. I dont recommend this place anyway.

Modern Indian food looks fashionable and tastes amazing at Maziga, VR Bengaluru. This fine dine restaurant serves exotic food with eye-catching presentation and plating. Dining here is an experience that is unparalleled.Their service and ambience are also quite good. My overall experience was delightful and I enjoyed it.FOOD, TASTE, AND QUALITY:I tried a lot of dishes from their menu and liked most of them. They also serve amazing chaats which are yummy.Artichoke and Kale Chaat was delicious! I loved the flavours in it. The tangy chutney added a burst of flavours. It was reasonably priced.Rajasthani Kachori Chaat was authentic and delicious. I have lived in Rajasthan and therefore, I can vouch for its authenticity and taste. It’s fills up the stomach quite well so be informed before ordering it.Goat Cheese Samosa was yummy! It was a prepration that amazed me. I loved its presentation as well.Lamb Galouti Kabab was close to authenticity. It’s good to see this Awadhi prepration at Maziga. The kabab melts in mouth and is a delight to have it. A good option to choose for starters.Murg Tikka Quesadilla was delectable! I loved the tender meat which was succulent and juicy.Maziga Baked Alaska Murg was quite good in taste.Kurkuri Wasabi Prawn – Beware the wasabi is the most authentic and strong wasabi so a tinge of it with prawns should be more than enough. It’s really good to see that Maziga serves authentic flavours without comprising on anything. Prawns were fresh and juicy. I loved this preprations. Also, its presentation was classy.Tandoori Duck was Okayish in terms of flavours. I expected more in flavours but the meat was absolutely succulent considering duck meat takes more time to cook. I loved its texture and presentation!Tulsi and Sarson wali Cod Fish was a toothsome preparation. The fish was fresh and of good quality. I liked the flavours infused in it. It’s definitely a good option in seafood.Peshawari Bharwan Aloo was a good option to try in vegetarian starters. I liked it because the potato was well cooked and had balanced flavours.Dahi Wale Kabab was absolutely spot on in flavours and taste. The presentation was too good. For cocktails, I had Rising Rum and Indo Mary. Both of the cocktails were good, in fact Indo Mary was excellent! I can recommend Indo Mary to someone who likes tangy and spicy drinks.Maziga Dal Makhni was also too good to have in main course. It was authentic with the perfect smoky flavour. I loved having it with Lacha Paratha.Nalli Gosht was quite good with balanced flavours. The meat was tender and succulent. I liked this with Aloo Onion Cheese Kulcha. It made a perfect combination.I had Mango Sorbet for desserts and I loved the taste of it.SERVICE AND AMBIENCE:Service is quite good with the staff being courteous and attentive. Ambience is classy and perfect for a date or to celebrate a special occasion. #partofalmighty #bangalorefoodreview #bangaloreblogging #foodblog #foodblogger #bangaloreblogger #foodphotography #foodreviews #reviews #photos #maziga #finedine

Maziga at VR Bengaluru is popular for its 15-course fine dining experience. I was here recently to experience the same. Maziga celebrates Modern Indian cuisine. They have a humungous range of dishes in the ‘a la carte’ menu, and if you want to experience something extraordinary then must-try their 15-course meal, which is a journey through popular Indian dishes. This is available only on prior booking (min 24 hours in advance). The ambiance is created to suit the Modern Indian cuisine concept, so one can enjoy a relaxed meal with a glass of wine or an interesting cocktail. This experience was first time for me and I enjoyed it fully. Chef Javed Ahamed has brilliantly put together the essence of Indian dishes along with globally famous dishes. The classic take on our National food, Khichdi in the form of Risotto was truly a wonderful dish. As I am not a fan of liver/brain, I replaced the dishes with vegetarian dishes like Veg Cheese ball and Veg pav topped with Orange glaze. Their style of plating and presentation was great. The flavored yogurts enhanced the taste of delectable dishes served. The Edamame and green peas soup was light and delicious. The stuffed Lamb Kulcha was one of my favorite dishes. The Malvani Prawns served with Charcoal lentil pancake is something you should not miss at Maziga. The Quinoa Upma and Smoked Codfish served on a bed of Kaffir lime sauce was the perfect pairing with my red wine. The dessert options had Thandai Panna Cotta and Turmeric Kulfi and the luscious flavors will quickly melt-in-your mouth.Overall I enjoyed the evening at Maziga. The service was quick and the staffs were very polite. The 15-course menu is priced at INR 2200 + taxes. yougottatryit.in
Maziga a Modern Indian cuisine restaurant is casual style cafe and dining experience with a Modern Indian cuisine menu that brings old Indian favourites with a twist, created by Chef Javed Ahamad and team. The restaurant is very well designed with mesmerizing giant crystal drops chandelier. The seating is so so comfortable and lavish. Now talking about the food , they have a loaded 15 course journey through India which is so well curated to satisfy ones taste buds. They have both veg and Non-veg varients available. Each and every dish in the course is carefully selected by the chef and so well prepared to perfection.I tried the Non veg course and it was lip snacking and so well made. The meat was cooked to immaculate taste and blended well with the spices.Be sure to be super hungry when you try their 15 course meal !!! and enjoy each and every bite slowly !!!One should inform the restaurant management priorly fir this meal before they go to the restaurant and no sharing.
