Mutton briyani and chicken fry are simply awesome. Must try.
I visited here with my friend to try their nati style chicken and donne biryani. We ordered Mutton biryani and nati chilli chicken. The biryani here was different. Even the rice used seemed to be different. Being the first timer, I liked it.They serve food in copper coated utensils which I really appreciate.Overall, a good place to try a variation of biryani.
Briyani taste is very good!Everyone should try it.Reason for 2 star is bad grill chicken!Chicken was not cooked properly.Taste was yuck! Throwed it to trash completely.
Ambiance is good. I ordered chicken donne biriyani. It was like lemon rice. Chicken wasn’t cooked properly. Cost is too high compared to other Donne Biriyani hotels.
Although a fan of Donne biryani.. This is the worst possible place.. You get Punjabi style biryani when you ask for egg biryani.. On top of it manager/owner fights with you arguing what they did is correct.. Why would someone go to Donne biryani mane and eat Punjabi biryani is beyond imagination.mutton was hard as beef indicating how old the stock is.I resisted myself so much before writing this review. But owner/manager must change their attitude.
Good place with basic ambience near to CMRIT college. I felt food was worth the money although we tried only a chicken gravy and fried rice. Yet to try their Donne biryani.
Food (4/5): Dodda Mane Donne Biryani is probably one of the most popular franchise that is currently prevelant in the Bangalore food scene. The Brookefield outlet has gone a step ahead by including extra food items like chicken Shawarma, Grilled Chicken and other rotisserie based items. I will recommend the Tandoori Chicken, Egg Biryani and of course the crowd favourite, Donne chicken Biryani. The Biryani feels and tastes fresh and the chicken is also cooked pretty well.Ambience (3/5): The place has enough tables to accommodate close to 30 people but space management is bit of an issue. A group of 6+ ends up making the serving experience for the staff a but difficult. So, I would suggest some change in planning there. Otherwise, the place is always clean and you will easily find a table to grab.Service (3.5/5): I have visited multiple time and my experience has been mixed. Hence, the rating. First few service experience were excellent. The attendant came and asked for feedback on the chicken Shawarma, also asked if we were comfortable or not. But that vanished as the outlet became a bit more occupied and that is something that the staff should try to retain. Customer interaction is very important. The higher management is very effective. Any complaint or issue is immediately taken up and solved within minutes, so full marks there.Value for money (4/5): It is located opposite to CMRIT college so a lot of college kids loiter at this place which kind of tells that it is economical and has good value for money. Price per person (including beverage) should cost between 150-200 which is very good for a meal.
