Had a terrible experience at this place.The food is decent but the service can at best be described as abysmal.Despite having asked them twice before even entering the restaurant if they were open, as soon as we were handed the menus we were told to order the food quickly as they were closing. We did the same.While one main course was placed on the table before we were even done with the appetizer, the second took a whole hour to arrive.Certainly wouldn’t visit again.
One can almost never go wrong with #G2. It’s such an exotic place with it’s foreign & Indian choices. It’s got a great ambience, perfect for celebrating a formal occasion, or even a great time out with friends & family.
This place honestly has the best chicken biryani in manipal. It has this amazing ghee flavor and doesn’t overdo with the gravy unlike other restaurants here.
Had the chicken stuff steak the other day. Ambience is good, food looks great. But unfortunately that is where the line is drawn.The Food is not fresh and had to return the dish.
I ordered 4 dishes and 2 drinks and 6/6 of the things we ordered were terrible. Avoid at all costs. They genuinely need to improve their food by a lot.
We regularly order biriyani from this place. The best biriyani is Manipal handsdown according to me. We usually order the chicken dum biriyani. Chicken is well cooked and falls off the bone. The flavour of the chicken is well infused in the rice which is wat takes this biriyani to the next level.Another added advantage is that they provide chicken gravy along with this biriyani when u order. This is not provided my most of the restraunts with Manipal. The chicken gravy that comes along is pretty decent I must say. They also provide you with half portion of boiled egg.The packing is also great and very handy to eat and dispose.
Here you can find variety of cushine in the menu.From North Indian to costal Curry’s everything is there and I believe no other place in manipal has such diverse offerings.The ambience is good.The food is good.Only problem I have faced is it takes lot of time in food preparation even if there are very few people in the restaurant.Will suggest anyone looking for a fine line experience in manipal.
