So, after walking out of a cafe that wasn’t quite welcoming of a single lady (They asked me to sit in a cramped space, facing the wall), I walked in to Cafe Botaniq, a couple of kms away. This cafe, in contrast, was lovely. A spacious seating area, done up with soothing decor added to its appeal. The cafe staff were hospitable and professional. I ordered a hot chocolate with marshmallow and a brownie. The hot chocolate was super yummy. Though I felt the cafe was a tad bit expensive, the window-facing seats made up for the price. Delighted to find a cafe that doesn’t hound out single ladies (like many other cafes in Bangalore do). Three cheers! The only issue is that the main entrance is also the entrance to a spa, which makes it difficult to locate. A lovely place to spend a casual evening reading a book as you sip on coffee.
