Recently visited Kurtoskalacs’ Indiranagar outlet to try out their chimney cones. Kurtoskalacs is one of the first places to introduce the concept of chimney cones to Bangalore. The Indiranagar outlet is small, dainty and cute. We tried the mixed berry shake, red velvet shake, Oreo shake, banana peanut butter shake, Banoffee shake and green apple sparkle in the drinks. They don’t use refined sugar in their shakes which is the best part about it. It’s made with all natural ingredients and you can taste the quality. The mixed berry shake has actual berries blended into it, similarly the banana peanut butter shake had a really good quality peanut butter that went into it. Hands down one of the BEST banana peanut butter shake that I’ve had in Bangalore! The red velvet shake was amazing too. In the savoury cones I tried the magic shrooms cone, spinach and corn cone and the fiery paneer cone and both were fantastic. The magic shrooms cone had a creamy and cheesy filling that was perfectly seasoned. The fiery paneer was my favourite. It was fiery and spicy like the name. The paneer was soft and delicate. Loved it! The corn and spinach cone was pretty good too.The others tried the butter chicken cone, ghee roast cone and green street cone and they loved everything. The green street was an Andhra style chicken in green chilli sauce. And I was told as the ghee roast was the best. In dessert cones we tried the nutella swirl cone, dark nut rises cone, blue smurfs cone, tiramisu cone, red cheese berry cone. Everything was lovely. Highlight was the blue smurfs cone and the tiramisu cone! They were spectacular. The cones were all really well made, it was crispy outside and soft inside. If you want to try chimney cones or shakes this is the best place to try.
This place have amazing sweet and savoury chimney cones/cakes. They are a speciality of Hungarian split cake specially from Transylvania.They come with a twist to the Indian way in Kurtoskalacs inspired by the famous Hungarian cake.My personal favorite is the spinning corn with corn and spinach in veg, ghee roast and Carolina chicken, if you prefer a little tinge of sweet.In spicy the Green Street is good.In desserts I loved the Nutella Curl and Tiramisu.Watermelon cooler was nice and even the green apple one.They even have amazing shakes to offer like the Nutella shake and the Banana Peanut butter shake etc.Highly recommend if you are looking for some lip smacking desserts which aren’t that sweet..
A m a z I n g food, trust me when I say that. This outlet is serving so good. I for myself ordered Green street andra style chicken, more on a spicy side, ahhh just loved the flavours. In shake I had red velvet, perfectly made not that sweet. Tried some other shakes too, completely balanced.My friend had their ghee roast and it was the best she said. Not only the savory, I loveeeeeed the desserts. I had sumrf, it’s a white chocolate based dessert and it was too delicious.

This was my first visit to kurtoskalacs not particularly kurtoskalacs but first time trying out the chimney cones n cakes.I always wanted to visit the Koramangala branch but I got a chance to visit the newly opened branch in Indiranagar.Started off with the Nutella shake n also tried the caramel banana shakes, both were super good.The Nutella shake indeed had a Nutella flavour in it unless like other I tried which had a more flavour of chocolate ice cream rather than Nutella.I went here to try the chimney desserts n cakes but also tried their Savory which turned out to be damn delicious.Tried almost all the cones from but chicken to spinach n corn and mushroom everything were equally good in flavours n taste.I liked every other chimney desserts from here. The Nutella swirl was my favourite coz who doesn’t love Nutella.
