The place has a comfortable vibe to it, with courteous staff. They have an interesting menu, with lots of options across the Asian soectrum. We ordered Siracha maki rolls and veg dimsum platter for starters (really enjoyed them), lemon iced teas, and for the Main course – Chicken pad thai and Chiang Mai station noodles veg. The portion sizes were very generous, we actually had to pack up half the main courses and take back home. This is a great place for groups of friends or family. This is, however, an expensive place. Our total bill was 2400₹ (despite the fact that we got one main dish complimentary due to an offer).

Reviewing after my 5th or 6th visit. Asian cuisine being my favorite, Mamagoto always been a delight. The food is brilliant. The décor is so in sync with the theme of the place and its menu. Beautiful paintings and very interesting art. They had a special menu – they were celebrating completing 5 years? I think 5 years. I ordered a starter as well as a main from that menu. What I ordered and ate –1. Wasabi Mary (An interesting and delightful twist on the Virgin Bloody Mary)2. Crispy Lotus Stem (they were like proper lotus stem chips – super yummy)3. Pandan Tofu (Smelled like fish sauce, tasted like fish sauce (to a vegetarian) – fish-eating friends also thought it tasted weird. Was a little spicy. No one liked it – everyone thought it tasted weird.)4. Veg Thai White Curry (Very rich and creamy, tasted quite lovely)What friends ordered –1. Hoegaarden (served at double the MRP!)2. Cinnamon Whiskey Story3. Street Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce4. Green Thai Curry – Chicken (quite amazing – I have tried the veg Green Thai curry before as well – yumm)5. Chiang Mai Train Station Noodles – Veg (Very similar to Khao Suey – was very good – but I personally found it a little on the sweeter side)6. Mamagoto’s Chicken Broth for the Hungry Soul (with vermicelli noodles – was pretty good)7. Plain Sticky Rice8. Crispy Fish Fillet in a spicy black pepper sauce9. Java grilled Fish in a Hot sambal salsa with riceEveryone’s food was good, no one was disappointed. Except for that Tofu.Note – Their portions are HUGE. I don’t think anyone can finish an entire portion by themselves. Specially after all the starters and drinks. 3 of us had to parcel over half of our meals.Special mention – I’ve tried their Thai Puchka Bites earlier and they were very interesting and delicious.I personally like it because I love Asian/Thai food, and this place has plenty of options – which taste good as well. Surprisingly this recent visit made me realize that it’s a little too expensive, especially the beer.

A pretty decent place for a meal . Just felt that it was a bit too loud and congested for my liking . The food was fine . The service was also quite fast and friendly .
