The Canteen has become one of my all time favourite hangout spots in Bangalore. A venture of Vapour, the Canteen serves well priced, lip smacking finger food along with pocket friendly alcohol. They also have in-house brewery, serving different flavours at INR 99 a glass! Must tries here are the plates priced per piece – The fish, chicken tikka and the prawns. Would definitely recommend the place for a happy tummy that’s light on the pocket! Not many have discovered the place yet, I presume – quick to get a table and the ambience is charming as well. 4.5.The Canteen is such a great spot to chill at In Indiranagar! It’s a part of vapour and it’s incredible.The apple cider beer is amazing and not to be missed and i cant wait to come back to this place just to have that again.Coming to food, the prices are crazy, this place is insane value for money.The mutton galouti kebab, rava fried prawns, chilli chicken and malai chicken tikka were all really really good. The canteen special potli biryani was a let down, didn’t taste great tbh.The staff and service here is also absolutely top notch! Must visit.Food: 4.5/5Ambience: 4/5Service: 4/5Value for money: 5/5.
Sudden plans to meet some friends led me to The Canteen. Surprisingly, great place to catch up with friends. The food and alcohol is very reasonably priced. You can visit even during month end when wallet is not so friendly. We opted for the wheat beer and tried out their per piece menu. We ordered the Mutton Chaap, Fauladi kebab, Mushroom Chilli and Veg Pakoda.The Mutton Chaap and mushroom chilli was really nice. Veg Pakoda was kind of a disappointment. They need to differentiate and inform the customer if they are going to serve different kinds of pakora so that we can choose.Overall, nice spot to grab a quick bite and beer with friends.
The ambience is good. The place is pocket friendly. The quantity served compared to the price is very good. Must try the potli Biryani. The idea of serving starters per piece is a really nice idea
