This place is one of the best when it comes to Kerala/coastal cuisine. The staff is courteous and will patiently guide you, they have some very tasty curries along with appam/paratta and lot of starter options too.Loved the ambience and the setup.Only downside is the drinks, especially wine is pricey and they mainly serve Big banyan as that is owned by their parent company. Also – be careful when ordering curries, some of them can be too hot and spicy to your liking.
The buffet section had watermelon cut into triangles. Some people like to have watermelon seedless. So it would be good to have a section where some of the watermelon be seedless. Some people prefer to have watermelon without the seeds. The cake there wasn’t mentioned if it was egg or eggless. Hope you take the feedback positively.Apart from that, the aloo chat, spicy tart, strawberry milkshake were brilliant.Keep up the good work.
Dined here on a Saturday evening. It’s not a large restaurant. But neatly done traditional Kerala style interiors is impressive. The place was not crowded & by the time we sat & ordered only one other table was occupied. Service was prompt. Food delicious. For a restaurant inside in an upscale hotel the pricing is very reasonable. Our order for 5 costed ₹5.5k & we did order generously (3 non-veg starters, 3 non-veg main dishes, kerala paratha & idiyappam for 5 & 2 beers). The portion of 1 main dish will suffice 2 people easily. There is no dedicated washroom for this restaurant. To get to the washroom one has to pass through the pub next door. It’s just a minutes walk & not a downside but worth a mention I thought.
