Serendipity. If you hail from the shores, you perhaps share my struggle finding sumptuous seafood in Bangalore. The best coastal restaurants get it so wrong so often.A lazy end-of-the-month Sunday and a double digit bank balance led me to Bae. What started as a desperate hunger-driven food order turned out to be one of the best culinary discoveries of my life. At the very outset, their dish offerings are on point. The all-day breakfast is exactly what you’d want to wake up to. They’re heavy on the tummy and easy on the wallet. The dosa is strangely good and their cheese omelette is my newfound craving. But by far, the Prawns Maggi is hands-down the best thing I’ve had in a long time. Their seafood lured me in but their Chinese is what made me stay. I have tasted the Chicken Manchow, Chicken Manchurian and Mushroom Pepper Dry so far and am yet to be disappointed except for the one time it was a tad too spicy. They have excellent staff on board who accomodate your requests – no questions asked. A huge shoutout to Mr. Surya for being so wonderfully accomodating each time I’ve had a bizzarre request.If bae means love, this is it. Do yourself a favor and add to cart. Thank me later.P.S.
