A paradise for foodie’s, especially if you are looking at feasting on some good Kerala style cuisine. The ambiance gets a straight 4.5/5 for the details and a well-spaced seating arrangement. The cutlery is amazing and authentic. The food gets a straight 4.5/5 for the flavor, taste, and quantity. A super budget-friendly restaurant with the perfect menu to cater to your taste buds.

Have been hearing of this restaurant from multiple sources and decided to celebrate mom’s bday there. Good hospitality, great food. The only gripe is, the portion size, really tiny, especially the starters. But definitely a must try for Mallu cusine.

If you’re craving for some AUNTHENTIC KERALA food, then this place is a MUST TRY!I had an amazing experience here. The food was so delicious, full of flavour and each dish was made with so much perfection… °I ordered the MGA and Shrajah shake for drinks and I preferred the Sharjah shake more.° For starters I had the amazing the mutton coconut fry!°For the main course I tried ‘Pidi Kozhi curry’,. Soft and yummy rice dumplings served with country style chicken curry (still craving for it)And for dessert, the heavenly, cloud pudding ♥️

We were here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon . We reached here around 1 PM and it was over crowded.m, we had to wait for 30 to 40 min to get a table. It’s better to book in advance if you are planning to visit this place. They have a nicely done interiors, the prices for starters are quite pocket friendly, but there is a catch here, the portion size is really less for the starters. I don’t mind if they have increased their price and given decent portion. Coming to the food, we stared with some of their mocktails, Absolute khandhari, Kaithachakkakkum kalyanam, Nannari Sherbhath. All were ok, I loved the Kaithachakkum kalyanam. Coming to the starters or touchings as per them, we ordered idierachi, prawns kizhi, Kakka erachi, Koonthal Roast. For main course we ordered Ramasserry idly, appam, Pazham Kanji, Pazham pori with pothirachi curry and Shappu meen curry. For desert we ordered cloud pudding and kandhari ice cream.Mocktail:Absolute Khandhari: It was really spicy. Somehow I didn’t like it that much. It could have been little tangy. Kaithachakkakkum Kalyanam: This was yummy, the pineapple pieces in the coconut milk and ice cream was yummy.Nannari Sherbhath: It was good, but felt lemon juice was little less.Touchings:Prawns kizhi: If you love prawns and grated coconut chammandi you will love this. Could have been more spicy.Idierachi: This was the star, I just loved it. It was really deliciious.Kakka Erachi: This was also really yummy. As I said earlier, the quantity was really less. You guys should increase the price and give more quantity.Koonthal Roast: Felt this was too oily for our liking.Main Course:Ramasserry Idly: This was good, they serve you chutney pedi and sambar along with this.Appam: This was good. It was perfectly crunchy and soft at the same time.Shappu Been curry: Absolutely delicious. Definite try.Pazhan Kanji: If you want to try kanji you can try this. There were may sides provided with it. Felt bit pricier.Pazham Peri with Beef curry: Pazham pori was good but beef pieces were little hard to chew and masala was not perfectly blended. The curry provided was more in quantity. This is a rare combination, you can reduce the quantity of the curry and reduce the price. This combination requires equal amount of curry and pazham pori. Overall it was a good experience. You can definitely try if you want to have some Kerala food.Overall I would rate it 3.5/5 foodiegorilla.com

More like a 3.5/5.Headed here after multiple Whatsapp family groups bombarded me with an LBB video of the place and wanted reviews. Went here on Sankranti, entered the doors right when they opened. The place was full 5 minutes later. Reserve, RESERVE of you don’t want to wait on the street. The interiors are minimal, bordering on being industrial chic, with a small outdoor seating area. Clearly, they believe in letting the food hog all the attention.ON THE TABLE:- Kaithachakkakum Kalyanam: a delicious, creamy drink of pineapple and coconut milk- Kada Dry Roast: There were just 2 sorry excuses of quail meat. Two skeletal pieces with no meat. And wait, it wasn’t a dry dish as the name suggests.- Avoli Nelikka Masala Fry: The marinade is a beauty! Gooseberry, bird’s eye chilli and pepper – fingerlicking good!- Pidi Kozhi Curry: The coconut milk-based, mild gravy is an instant throwback to Kerala kitchens.- Pazham Pori with Pothirachi Curry: Dismal quantity and size of the banana fritters. While the tenderloin was well cooked, the masala wasn’t and this spoiled the combination which is otherwise a Kochi classic.- Unnakkai: Came piping hot, but they can definitely up the quantity on this one.- Paalada payasam: Average.- Kandhari Ice Cream: Must try if you like experimenting with food. It’s a lovely harmony of all notes sweet and spicy. Now what pulls down the rating to 3.5?Table sharing. Saw the host plonk a couple with a child on a 4-seater table where there was an elderly couple sitting already. The couple was displeased, I would be too. Just that they wound up their meal quickly and left. I would have created a ruckus if I was forced to share my table (the host didn’t even ask the couple), especially during a meal that costs INR 1500+. This place isn’t about community dining and the restaurant should think of creating a waiting area or some other alternative instead of plonking people at tables, a highway motel or darshini-style.This is an experience that happened to somebody else but it left a sour taste to the whole dining experience here.PS: Toilet doors are super tight here. Push hard when you really need to go. Help the elderly if you see them struggling with this.

Clearly a winner in terms of Food. I loved the Meen curry. Beef Fry was to the point. Service can be worked upon. I can see myself dining here more often. gypsyneel.com
