I ordered online. The ghee roast chicken biryani was exquisite.The spices were just right if not a bit mellow for my taste. Chicken was well cooked. The packaging was decent.
Today we visited Pugal’s Biryani for lunch. Was not aware of the meaning of word Pugal so came back and did some research on net. Pugal is a Tamil word and it means Famous or Fame. If it was Pugal Biryani it would have been a perfect fit but Pugal’s, I am not very sure.It’s a small shack on the velankani road. The place has close to 8 tables. There was only one guy playing role of taking order and delivering the order to the table. We had to wait 25 minutes to get the order delivered.We had ordered three different types of Biryanis (Special Chicken Biryani / Ghee roast chicken Biryani and Fish Biryani). I liked special biryani out of the lot. They first delivered special chicken biryani, it had 4 boneless chicken kabab pieces and the rice was mixed with scrambled eggs. Second to come was Ghee roast chicken biryani; it had topping of 4 chicken pieces with some fried onions masala on top of the Biryani Rice. The last to arrive was Fish Biryani, It was more like pulao. The Biryani taste matches Ambur Biryani. The taste of the Biryani is definitely good but the down side is long wait. May be they need to increase the cooks in the kitchen to serve the food at a faster pace and have one more person to do the table service.My Rating:Food: 4/5 (avoid Fish Biryani).Ambience: 2/5 Service: 1/5 (long wait)Value for money: 3/5
Great taste & aroma. A must try restaurant for briyani especially. Looks like a small restaurant from outside. But the interior looks so clean & intact with apt number of wooden tables for the space available.
Awesome food, had got parcel from the shop for dinner, the taste of the food was excellent, was very bored of Hyderabad style briyani and was looking for a good nawab/mughal style briyani, this one satisfied my taste buds.. the packing was very very good.. loved the whole thing.. it would be great if we get some options to order online since all most all shops in ecity area providing online ordering facilities.. would appreciate if this request taken into consideration.. would give 5 star if online facility is introduced..
Awesome food at excellent quality. Must visit family restaurant in electronic city.You can see many fake restaurants in electronic city area, so don’t wast your money on those restaurants.Visit Pugal’s Biriyani and enjoy hygienic & authentic fire wood biriyani.
The best Hot, tasty and unique biriyani at Pugals Biryani. Today, I went along with my friend as one of my friend was already tasted and told about the same. Especially chicken biriyani with good things, – chicken pieces are very fresh- No smelll you can find in pieces- Chicken is fully cooked and you can eat like panner piece even better than that, children also definitely can taste easily as not much spicy and cooked very well – Taste is amazing and if you are having there itself then definitely you will feel that unique aroma with hot serve. Also, they are providing Raitha and Brinjal curry Definitely its very opt place for Biriyani and can enjoy with your friends. On noon place is little hot because of the metal sheet construction. after 3pm it doesnt matter. Definitely you can parcel and enjoy :)Hopefully, will go again sometime with friends or take away for family! Obviously INR 120 for chicken biriyani is really worth!! And 150 for special chicken biriyani !! Guys please don’t miss this taste of biryani and never had like this in Bangalore!!!
