So I went here for dinner. Though in their menu mentioned North Indian food, but they do not serve readily. Waiter mentioned it will take 30 minutes to serve North Indian food. So I went for North Karnataka Thali, and that was my best decision. Jowar roti was fantastic, Ghee was free flowing. Buttermilk was yum, and as always they can never go wrong in making plain rice, all grains were nicely cooked. Must have there chuntney powder which is also free flowing. And to end your dinner with Elaichi Bananas.Thali consists of Three vegetables,salad, jowar roti, rice, sambar, Rasam, papadam, one sweet, curd. Value for money;4/5Ambience:3/5Food:4/5Overall experience:4/5Recommendation: worth Visiting.P.s on my two nights business visit, I went dinner for same place for same food. We have been here around 4 or 6 times. Best way to enjoy the food is go when you are hungry. One of the best places to enjoy north Karnataka food. They serve in planted meals leaf. The food is tasty and worth the money.The staff is very friendly and service is good. One should try the Sunday special meal, it’s awesome. The ambience is comfortable. It’s good way to spend a nice afternoon lunch with family on a weekend.Planning to go here again soon.We visited for dinner mostly, and once we went for lunch, but never were disappointed with the taste or the service.
This restaurant is popular for North Karnataka cuisine. Wide variety. Open buffet(Unlimited). Jowar roti, 3 different vegetables, green salad(fresh), rice, sambar, rasam. There was 3 varieties of chutney powder. Buttermilk, Curd & Served hot. The brinjal dish is tasty. The staff are very responsive. Areas to improve – The washroom stink is unbearable & put me off. I can’t understand why would it be so difficult to sanitize these areas. If this is taken care then the rest should be fine.
Service is very bad and slow. We visited this place on 26th October for lunch. Jowar rotis were not available. We had to wait about one hour to finish our lunch. Not recommended place.
A friend of mine took me here a month ago. The hotel is also known as Basant Vihar. Good Jollad Roti meal but way too expensive compared to its competitors. It will be crowded during afternoons considering all employees of surrounding offices come there for lunch. A one time visit.Ambiance: 3.5/5Food: 3.5/5Staff: 3.5/5Value for money: 3/5
Bangalore’s best breakfast will be here!Ambience was good. Service was good. I’ve been in Bangalore for a week. The place for my breakfast is AMRUTA all the week. Sambar and chutneys were ultimate. We can find both north and South Indian breakfast.Thank you.
