Ambience – It’s roadside eatery with no sitting area. Nominal hygiene is maintainedFood – One of the few places in to serve authentic Maharashtrian vada pav and dabeli1. Vada Pav – The bun was soft and fresh. It just melts in your mouth. The potato vada was well cooked and not spicy. It had balanced taste of salt, spices and turmeric. There is dry chutney powder which complements the vada taste.Rating – 4/52. Dabeli – The masala was authentic and medium spicy. The sev is crispy.Rating – 4/53. Samosa – The outer crust was crispy and have salty taste. The masala is prepared in north Indian style having peas with potato.A north Indian will not appreciate it much as it lacks taste of some spices. However it’s decent enough to try.Rating -3.5/5
Bombay Vada pav corner is a famous small eatery in Seshadripuram(walk-able from Mantri mall) known for their pav items. I have been planning to eat here for over 6-7 years and finally gave a visit after a sudden plan with cousin on a late evening who already is a huge fan of their Dhabeli since her college days:)Ambiance:-It is a hole in the wall joint and there is enough place on footpath to stand and eat.-Parking space is also available.Service:-Self service. Pay upfront and get the food item in Food:-Bombay Vada pav: Delicious aloo stuffing in soft pav with some spicy masala powder inside.-Butter Dhabeli: Butter Pav stuffed with perfect spicy/sweet dabeli masala! Both the items are a must try.Conclusion:-A must visit in Bangalore for pav item lovers.-Pocket friendly-> Above two items costed us 50 bucks, worth every penny.-Can’t wait to try the rest of the items on their menu:)Food: 4.5/5Service: 4.5/5Ambiance: N/AQFM: 5/5
