Let me tell you upfront that this is not a fine dine, fancy restaurant. I go here because it’s close to my place and pretty reasonable. Decent Mangalorean food, Tulu speaking staff. Makes me feel like I’m at my hometown. Nothing fancy. If you mean business (i.e., filling your tummy with some fresh seafood), this place is worth visiting.Have tried the following:•Chicken Ghee Roast (3/5) – not the most authentic tasting ‘ghee roast’ but it’s nice on its own.•Prawn biryani (3.5/5) – good flavour and quantity. Could add more prawns in them.•Chicken Fried Rice (3.5/5) – a very local flavoured yummy fried rice.•Neer Dosa (4.5/5) – nicely cooked, thin and goes perfectly with chicken ghee roast masala.•Fish Fry (3.5/5) – tried the silverfish, seer fish, ladyfish, mackerel (masala fry / naked fry / rava fry) on various occasions. Pretty decent.Will keep going back here cuz Mangalorean food is LOVE and a meal at Matsya is kind on your pockets. :)MY ACTUAL RATING OF THIS PLACE IS 3.5, BUT SINCE WE DON’T HAVE FRACTIONS ANYMORE, GOING WITH 4.

Ordered biryani online & omg it was pathetic !! You ruined my lunch. The biryani was absolutely tasteless & filled with oil, must have given me the previous day’s leftover.. You don’t even deserve 1 star..
