Went here for breakfast on a breezy, beautiful Saturday morning. The A/C room was nearly empty when we got there and thus, combined with the warm beige decor of the place and the embossed murals (in pic), we got a very calm and welcoming feel. We were looking forward to our meal.Orders were promptly taken, and our meal arrived soon after. One plate of idli-sambar was filling like you would never expect from a plate of just two idlis, primarily because of the generous amounts of sambar they were soaked in. Cheese Masala Dosa, while seemingly small at first, was roasted to a crisp and topped off with a dollop of butter (writing about it makes me hungry now).I would give the place a higher rating if it were not for the blatantly loud screeching sound that kept coming for half our time there. When asked about it, it was because of the normal cleaning (read: mopping and dusting work) that was going on (not even anything too heavy). How hard can it be to TRY to keep the noise down so your customers can eat in peace?
The most interesting thing about this place is its wall decor. Otherwise not a must try one. Only if you are around and just want to have a quick bite, then go in. The food is good. We tried a plain dosa, masala dosa and a rava onion dosa. But the coffee stands out. So while I had no issues with the food and the ambience, I have issues with the service. The food was served quickly, but they serve you the bill quickly as well without wanting to know if you have more orders to place. When I gave my card for the bill, I had to walk over to a different part of the restaurant to key in the pin. The washrooms were clean but had no hand-wash/napkins.

This is a darshini type of restaurant situated opposite to commercial tax office in Gandhinagar.. It has a self service as well as a a/c service hall.. Having tasted their south Indian breakfast items, I would say the taste is above average. Prices are reasonable.
Since it’s close to my dad’s office this is a place we’ve been coming to for a long time. The prices have been increasing regularly but the taste has remained the same, which has always been quiet decent. The breakfast items are good like the dosas. The ice creams are also quiet famous here.
Hotel is located just behind sagar movie hall in majestic.. we went to service hall and ambience is ok kind and no special.. Food i ordered for soup cream mushroom and dum biryani.. sandeepkasal.wordpress.com
