The Muddhe/Ragi ball with Mutton chops was excellent. Regularly have my lunch here and staff is very courteous. Natti chicken also is my favorite. The Donne Biryani is good compared to other places with less oil.
Pathetic service, bad food. Had to wait over 40 mins to get the food. The waiter got the order wrong. Also we were charged cor the food we dint order. Overpriced as well. Overall a really bad experience.
Was a regular favourite restaurant before renovation. All the items served were of high quality and taste. I could order any item on the menu and it would taste good. Visited today after renovation, interiors look good with see through kitchen, the good points end here. They now have a single card menu, to my surprise with non veg items as well. Ordered tomato soup – got a feeling of eating raw tomatoes. Rotis was okay nothing much to say. For curry ordered Veg chettinad, after eating I had to empty two sugar packets to soothe my tongue and I was done.I conveyed my displeasure to the manager who just said okay and told that South Indian food will be little spicy!! I had no words!!Bottom line AVOID it!!! Staff, menu and food has changed.
‘Amazing PONGAL and Crispy VADA’ at Tamaara Restaurant in Hotel Mayura, Race Course Road, Bangalore 🙂 ..One of the oldest and finest Restaurants in Bangalore. It might have lost out on its popularity bcoz of the competition by the new Restaurants but this is still one of the finest hotels :)… #foodblogfeed #bengaluru_diaries #bengaluru_nodi #foodoftheday #nammakarnatakaphotographers#travelkarnataka #photographersofindia #karnataka #photographersofindia #bengaluru_diaries#bangalore_insta #foodblogger #bengaluruFoodie #incrediblekarnataka #foodporn #bestofbangalore #indianfood #foodmaniacindia #sobangalore #shotononeplus #nammakarnataka #indianfoodbloggers #foodiesofindia #shotononeplus6 #food52 #bengaluru #eatinbangalore
This is situated near a very busy junction closeby to the Bustop and a very good crowd can be expected. It was under renovation for several months. So after the renovation it turned out to be pretty good with nice interiors. If I’m not wrong before the renovation only Veg was served and now even Non-veg is served. But I happened to try Veg.Had ordered for Tandoori Rotis and Navarathna Kurma (my first try) and asked him to serve if it’s oly spicy and had mentioned him it shouldn’t be less spicy. On recieving the order and tasting it was too sweet with pineapple as the toppings. Calling upon the manager and asking him to justify it, the answer wasn’t satisfactory as he says d guy was new to work. This place has got no ambience and the whole place being empty we weren’t allowed to choose a table.I feel there is no much staff working at this restaurant as there is too delay in the service.
The service is horrible. We had checked if there is waiting as we were 6 and the guy who was managing said No. But when we entered, he told us to wait for 10 mins and said if u cnt wait then you can go. The attitude was very rude and not at all welcoming or pleasant. Worse, he was making 6 os seat on a 4 seater table and was like you dunt want to adjust then we cant help.Honestly, if it wasnt for the elders who were with us we would hav left that place only coz of his behaviour.
A casual dining place masked as a Fine Dining Resturant. Checked-in after a movie for a quick bite and ordered Onion Dosa, Rava Idli and completed it with Coffee. Dosa was soft and onions were crisped to golden color. Rava Idli was topped with Green Peas instead of the usual tomato. Aloo gravy was a great companion for both dosa & idli and tasted amazing. The ambience is well maintained and staff are friendly in approach. They serve quick and are on toes for requests. The prices are pocket-friendly. Being tucked in the busy streets of Race Course, there’s usually less crowd. The downside are the parking place and fewer items available on menu. We would back for few more dishes 🙂 navneeth.lifeonplates.com
