A decent option for a vegetarian lunch in this area. I have tried the South Indian and North Indian thali meals. The Thali is limited, the waiters request the customers to not share. The Thali is basic. The South Indian onecontains poori, Sagoo, rice, rasam, sambhar, papad, vegetable Palya, payasa and curd rice. The Rasam stood out, the remaining items were nice, but nothing worth the rave. North Indian thali contained tomato soup, tandoori roti, curry, pulao, dal, rice, raita, curd rice, Rasogolla and icecream. The North Indian thali is priced a little higher than South Indian. The rotis and pulao was good. The other items in the thali were basic. Overall, the pricing is reasonable, service is moderately quick, and food tastes alright.
Nice calm place for break fast lunch and dinner. Clean and neat food. Good taste. I like the dosas here and also the north indian fare. The food was good 9 out of 10 times. I am a regular here for breakfast and lunch. Pls note only coffee is not served here.
Really yummy rasam. Good service! A little expensive than other places but I found it worth it. Good music playing. Had a pleasant time after a hectic day !
This restaurant is located close to my office, in Gandhinagar. I’ve been here a dozen times for breakfast and lunch, but this review is about the lunch menu.Earlier, I’d order a la carte and I’ve tried most of the popular dishes such as paneer butter masala, naan, jeera rice, dal makhni etc and all are very good. It’s not gourmet cuisine but they make really good north indian fare. Unfortunately sometimes I’ve seen food colouring and that’s a big turn off. They also offer a buffet on weekdays and it’s very reasonably priced. It’s quite a huge spread right from soup and papad to starters to desert. The tomato soup unfortunately has a lot of colouring but sweet corn soup is yummy. They serve different starters everyday. The dal makhni and jeera rice combo is really great and I polished it off within minutes, especially when it’s accompanied by raita. For desert I really like the halwa they serve, it’s full of ghee and probably 1000 calories, but absolutely yummy!
Pakka south indian taste, yet most of the varieties are good. One of the decent place to come out with family. My parents prefer south indian more.
Nothing great about this hotel,, just the only good option in chickpet area. Main advantage is variety, but no good service and very irresponsible staff.
