Have been to this restaurant twice. The food is good. They have most of the Vietnamese food. The service isn’t very great. We ordered three drinks and none of them were good.
I always wanted to see some restaurants serving authentic Asian cuisine in Bangalore after I have tried Vietnamese food in other countries. It’s a tiny restaurant and the ambiance is okay. The staff is courteous and it was served in time. Though this place did not have the Vietnamese authenticity, the food was very decent and tasted very well. I would encourage you to only try Vietnamese here and not any other Asian cuisine because they weren’t good enough.Try the butter garlic in starters which tasted awesome with Paneer and of course their trademark Pho. I find the price slightly over for the quantity. I would recommend only a one time visit if you are craving for some Vietnamese food.
A pretty decent serving and dining experience. Good for the price. Some dishes were quite close to their authentic taste. Not a lot of choices though.
The pho’ soup is really worth it. It could easily be shared with two people. The oyster main course fish gravy guves authentic feels along with the burnt garlic fried chicken. The ambience is calm and the service is really good. They removed *ZOMATO GOLD* which was there before.
I wanted to try the Vietnamese kitchen for a long time and decided to head to this place for dinner. To start with, I’ll say the place is well maintained and is located on the main road itself. This is not hard to miss for people travelling on that road. This has good seating space and the decor is done nicely as well. The ambience is good for friends and family. As far as the food is concerned, I tried their hot n sour veg soup and spicy basil rice in Veg. I must say I was quite disappointed with hot n sour soup as it was way too thick then it’s supposed to be. There are a good amount of veggies in it and also has pieces of mushroom and tofu in it. It resembled the liquid glue or gum. I checked with the captain or the manager about this and his response was equally mind-blowing. This is how they make it here and that’s about it. It cannot be made any less thick. Fair enough and learnt my lesson. Nevertheless, as far as the rice is concerned, I’d say this is one of the best and loved it thoroughly. Every bite was good and had a good amount of veggies in it. No complaints on the rice what so ever. The bill was 352/- which I find it to be slightly exuberant. This is in line of Chungs in Jayanagar or must say slightly expensive than that. That’s something I’m not quite satisfied with. The overall price could have been reduced by at least 50-70 bucks considering there are similar hotels in the same area where the price is much lower and quantity and quality are equally good. This place is good for once in 2 or 3 months kind. A good place that one wouldn’t regret going to. Will surely visit again. I’d love to rate 4, but the soup and the bill is a big turn off and hence settling down for 3. Quality of the rice is top-notch though!
The food is really goodCalm decorThe staff are friendly and the service is good. They use a lot of ingredients native to the Vietnamese cuisine as well!Infact the staff got us a sample of an ingredient when asked!!
