This place was exceptional when first opened, but sadly the standards have dropped. The service has become lax but the food is good which is mostly south indian fare. It seeems to be generally a quiet place and the ambience is pleasant.
I had an early morning breakfast meeting at Athithyam. The place was quite empty when we arrived. I tried the idlis which were done very well. Coffee was also quite good. The people I met also gave positive feedback about this place.
