Perfect place for a leisurely and fabulous lunch The staff is extremely courteous, quick service and great quantity all across starter and main course. Would recommend non veg food over veg , both were good but not veg was really great – Platter, Soup and butter chicken was fabulous ..
An outlet inspired by colonial times, the age old Bangalore favourite has a dedicated eye for detail, with designs inspired from the 19th century. The ambience is lively and green, overlooking an open area with a gorgeous vertical garden. The food is prepared with time and effort, with an emphasis on the spice profile and flavour. Our favourites in starters included the Kakori Kebab, Dahi ke Kebab and the Arcot Mutton Chops. We absolutely loved the tangy Brahmin Prawn Curry as well as the Nalli ka Salan. Our dessert picks for classic lovers would be the Chocolate Moksha but the Coconut Soufflé stole the show. The wine selection and reinvented cocktails were a delight and we would recommend the mimosa and the white wine mojito
Had been thinking about this place for quite a long time now.. and I could finally make to this place. The ambience is beautiful and I personally liked the outside sitting area. The place serves only wine among drinks and some mocktails. They have a menu for wine mocktails as well. The food menu has a variety. We tried the nonya butter Crunchy prawn(with coconut,Curry leaves and a secret ingredient which will shock u). It is something worth the try . We tried the chicken satay as well. It was okayish but the chutney(groundnut) it is served with is amazing. I personally loved the crispy fillets of fish.Among the main course we tried their Burmese khaowse(noodles base) which is their signature dish. I loved it. Also the butter chicken there is nice. The service is amazingly good and every staff there were so generous and kind. All together a good dine out.
Given the high review on Zomato, I visited this place with high expectations for food and ambience. The ambience and service was great. But the food was a let down.Som Tam: salad was too sour with no proper amount of balancing that taste.dahi kebab: tasted good But since it was a sour dish, no dip/chutney was provided to balance that. Hence didn’t enjoy it much.Balti Rogan josh: well cooked mutton but gravy didn’t taste good.
