Best chettinad chicken biryani in the area, served hot and fresh. Loved it. Looking forward to visit here again. Tried mutton biryani as well, which was equally good.
Off late was missing some good old Chettinad Non-vegetarian food, & did not want to end up with the usual, & more famous ones in the city. Mainly because I have tried them, I know what to expect & most importantly I wanted to try something new. While browsing through the food deliver app, cane across South Treat, saw the interesting menu, reviews were ok & decided to try them.Ordered for the most obvious Chettinad Chicken, couple of Parotas, & a Chicken Biriyani Combo with a Coin Parota. The order was swiftly delivered with meat packaging, which I quickly dug into. The Chettinad Chicken was had an inch of oil floating on top, which is a good thing, cause that’s what good looks like. The taste was fabulous, didn’t expect to taste such authentic Madurai flavours right here in Bangalore & the spice levels were yumm. The Parota was way too perfect to be had with the Chicken Gravy. The coin Parota was tiny & good, just the way it’s supposed to be.The Biriyani again was bursting with Tamil Nadu flavours & devoured it in an instant. Though the biriyani could not compete with the best of best in Bangalore, it was a very good representation from the city of Vaigai.Overall a great meal & I would order from them again, and again. The only thing is that the Chettinad Chicken gravy & the chicken gravy served with the Combo was way too similar, though I remember them being quoted differently on the menu while ordering.Don’t miss this place if you don’t want to miss authentic Tamil Taste, comes highly recommended.
