I would rate this dhaba (-5 )or even less than that. I ordered a plate of chicken kabab and got only bones, it was over fried don’t know from how many years they have been using the same oil. I hardly took 3 to 4 bites in that entire plate and the rest was bones and seriously there was a street dog next to me(indise sitting area) that’s the hygiene. Worst service too, I called the waiter he saw me calling and went on without responding. Trust me I couldn’t even sit and eat those 3 bites because of mosquitoes. There was a ton of mosquitoes guys. seeing the quality of food I did not order anything further. Went to pay bill personally, that plate of kabab was not even worth of 10rs and he charged 100rs for that and when I complained he told ‘neev bone less kelidre ade kodtha edve(if you had asked for boneless we would have given that only’) everything was worst form entry to exit.

This is one of the few dhabas I used to frequent during my college days along with friends.. This place was more of a hangout place enjoying the drinks than for food as food quality and hygiene was not good.. Suitable for peoples to spend time outside the city limits..

This Dhaba exists from a very long time. It is situated on the parallel road to kanakpura road. Before extreme urbanisation it would be amazing to drive here and have dinner. Now, the whole locality is urbanised. The place is a bit dark and gloomy. The place feels a little unsafe due to the bad crowd that comes here. Not recommended for families. Food is OK. They have to improve on hygiene. Parking space is available.

this place is murky and looked like the dark godown that you see in movies where the goons sorround their victims and beat them up while others just watch. Literally we could see two or three people getting bashed up by vicious thugs but the suppliers were coolly supplying liquors and food items as if its quite a usual everyday affair.I wonder what the city police are doing while so much attrocities are going on here by the local rowdies and goondas.please dont visit this dhaba unless you have a specific agenda of mauling your enemies with the help of your underground connections.Good location for the movie shooting if you have a kidnap scene of the heroine or a rape scene. After seeing the situations, we just left the place without eating even though we were so hungry. so no review about the food.

Wanna get out of the city and have a secluded space and time ? Wanna be near to the city life but away from traffic and crowd ? Wanna feel little closer to nature with pet dogs, cats, hens and turkeys walking around ? Wanna enjoy sprawling lush green open space with a patch of coconut groove? Wanna get that village dhaba / hut wala feeling ? Wanna spend some time talking to fishes in the aquarium near a kitchen ? (Here i get some sense – are these fishes taken out live and cooked ? Or would one be so drunk to go talk to fishes ?)Anyways, if your answers are yes to the above questions (maybe not all questions 😛 ) you should visit this place and experience it all. Advisable that ladies don’t go without friends or family. Given the description, this place is like a retreat paradise for the ABCDs (alcohol, beer consuming desis). Though next to a main road, this place is just out of the place in terms of the silence and privacy one gets. U choose a hut u wanna settle in and no one disturbs (even the steward occasionally comes to take further menu, that too only if you insist couple of times). For me the best part was the untamed friendly pets that one gets to be with – 5 Labradors (liked the black one more), couple of turkeys and cats sneaking around for some leftover food to be shared. Getting a hut under the shade of the coconut groove was fantastic. Right at the corner of the huge place – silence, seclusion, serenity and (in)sanity. Perfect.Catching up with old pals can get nostalgic, even more so when few decide to unwind memories with couple of smokes and beers (such a natural duo to unleash the tongue from the chains of the sensible conscious self). Alcohol is not served in this place, just serviced. For ease of understanding – the server will buy beer from an adjoining liquor shop and serve it for a tip. Now, if there’s beer then there’s masala. In our case, we chose it to be papads and pakodas. Such addictive starters, just can’t get enough.Since the visit was more to do with catching up with old pals, food was least on our minds. Next came in kulchas and naan with dal tadka and paneer butter masala. Decent taste but with lots of onion and heavy spice. Wanted to give a shot at the rice menu and ordered the jeera rice. Was much better than anticipated downgraded benchmark based on the breads with gravies.Took us about an hour to have food. But, the total time spent here was about 4 hours! Yup, when there’s such huge place with not much crowd and all time time for friends, this place can get very cozy in no time. When heading out for parking lot, the pan wala came to the rescue for many with the maghai pan (ask an ABCD to know why pan is important after ‘unwinding’).This place is more of an experience than food. Guess some places are just that – helps you have good memories in time than memories on tongue. After spending so much time with old pals, this place ironically felt like the heaven’s gate. For those of you who are reading this review and wondering if I’m writing this while ‘unwinding’..No. I’m just ‘re-winding’ my memories 🙂 dedicated to all my lovely buddies.
