We have been ordering from here for a while now and have enjoyed the food always. It may seem a bit expensive but for the quality its worth it and also remember they serve pretty decent portions.Yesterday ordered for an American Chopsuey Chicken which came with crispy noodles and a perfectly done fried egg. The taste was fresh and delivered hot. The chicken was well cooked and so were the noodles. Give it a 5 out of 5. Today ordered for a Lucknowi Mutton Biryani which was served with Raitha. I was cooked really well with lovely flavors. The meat was fall of the bone tender. Give it a 4.5 out of 5 because I got only three pieces ( reasonably sized) and one piece was mostly bone with hardly any meat. Hope they look into this.

I wanted to congratulate the owners to setup this restaurant in this locality . Let me now give review about the main thing which is food and drink . I had some sumptuous dishes which made me feel completely wholesome . The grilled fish was properly marinated and aptly grilled with spices . Their craft beer is also very subtle and smooth on the tounge . I will surely visit more often. I would also recommend you guys to visit this place atleast once . You can thank me afterwards .

I was here on Oct 8th for lunch with my family and friends. I heard about this place but never been there before and Oct 8th was my first time. The food was exceptionally good. We ordered 2 Towers of Beer, Non-Veg Kebab Platter, Pasta, Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef Steaks, Fish n Chips, Masala Peanuts and many more. Every dish was fantastic in taste and the ambience of this place was very good. The rates are quite reasonable as well. Must visit restaurant.
‘One for the road’ is a new addition to Whitefield and I visited it last week with my friends for lunch.The place is pretty spacious. The interiors are nice and beautiful.Here’s what we ordered:1. Cilantro chicken nachos – now, I’m a big fan of nachos. But the ones they serve here are a nightmare. It was so difficult to bite into those. And they had put some weird blue sauce which was disgusting. Overall, the nachos were dissapointing. DO NOT ORDER THESE!2. Fiery coriander Kolkata chilli chicken – chicken pieces were tiny. Taste was good but the quantity was poor.3. Chicken cookroo coo – huge chicken pieces which were stuffed with meat. I was expecting it to be more cheesy as described in the menu, but it wasn’t. It tasted decent but was very dry.4. Pasta bechamel – this too was an average dish. Nothing great. I’ve had better.5. Thai green curry – this was pretty good. The curry was well prepared and this was one the very few items that didn’t dissapoint.6. Chicken roulade – now, this was the WORST DISH EVER! This made me rate the place 2/5. The thing that put us all off was the mashed potato. It was DISGUSTING. It was raw and we could taste the peel. There was no salt, no butter. It was PATHETIC. The chicken too was disgusting. Overall, it was horrible. DO NOT ORDER THIS.7. Bira blonde and light.8. Nutty twist9. Sangria wineThe food is below average. The drinks are okay. But the food was a huge let down. For that pathetic quantity and taste the price is a lot. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.The service is good. The staff is polite and when we asked them to changed the dish, they changed it, although it didn’t taste any better.Overall, ‘One for the road’ isn’t all that great. It can surely be skipped. There are much better places with much better food and reasonable pricing. Also, a place that gets mashed potato so terribly wrong isn’t where I would go ever again.Overall rating:Food – 2/5Ambience – 3/5Service – 4/5
