Being a regular visitor to Talk over Table in Jeevan Bima Nagar, I have seen this nati ruchi outlet several times and for someone who loved biryani, I have been meaning to visit it fir a while now. Finally I ended up at this place for Lunch! From an ambience perspective, do not expect much. Its a basic setup with a little touch of thought in a few place. It means business when it comes to food amd that’s all you should be looking for.The menu boasts of multiple kinds of biryani but this day I was more in the mood for meals. So I went for their chicken meal which looked extremely inviting when it arrived. The meal included dal, buttermilk, rasam, chicken curry, little pulav, chapati, papad and big bowl of rice. For 120 bucks it seemed like a good spread. However, i find the portion sizes a little wrong. There a lot of rice and less curries. I ended up returning some pf the rice and asking half a portion of chicken kababs.Regarding taste, as expected it was spicy and filling. Taste was although only a little better than average. The chicken kabab turned out to be disappointing and expensive. For 6 pieces they charged 120rs. It lacked spice and crunch.Overall, I was not as satisfied as I had hoped. Next time, i think I go with biryani which is the popular thing on their menu.#IndiTraveller #AboveAverage
Briyani served cold at 2PM, ask them to heat it again, lot of chipped bone and few stones on it. horrible. just coriander and mint flavored rice to me. Mutton fry, cant see any meat, full of fat layer fried and served at medium heat.
I’ve been to this place many times and have always had a good experience.Mostly I’ve ordered dosa/ egg dosa and chicken curry for dinner and it was always good and safe on the stomach.I’ve tried their chapati, Donne biryani, meals and chicken dishes which have also been good. The service is quick and staff are also courteous. On one occasion I’d ordered fish fry and after I placed the order, they were genuine enough to cancel the order because it wasn’t fresh. So not sure how the fish tastes here.
I’ve been waiting for almost 15 minutes no staff is bothering to come and ask what’s your order. And staff are cheap scums and they don’t respond to any questions. Waste of time and money
An alright option to spend your time, food is alright, servers are friendly. Did not find anything to complaint about. Food was not amazing but not bad either.
I usually have the chicken biryani at Bengaluru House with their chicken green curry, which is oh so yum! This time around I tried out the curd rice and mutton fry combination which was also fantastic! A simple place with some good food – A must try!
Has a homely ambience and an authentic local taste forms the base of their food, which is very simple and satisfying. Sticking to the basics, and perfecting it is just as good as coming up with innovative stuff. There are very few eateries in town that nail the former, and this happens to be one of them. The prices are very very very reasonable. You could visit this place when your pockets are near empty or you just want some great traditional South Indian home made food.Visiting again soon
