This is one of the two bars on the Thippasandra road with proper seating space for people willing to drink in comfort. The plus about this joint is first and foremost the liquor rates which is reasonable enough although the food is a bit pricy but the margins for are low. For eg: you get a Mutton Biryani here for 220+ and a quarter of Rum for about 120. The roof space is good for a group of people (mostly guys or bachelors). The food is good enough to my taste buds and nothing much to talk about the liquor part since, that’s the same story everywhere else.It’s quite noisy although, that’s what you get when your agenda is to get drunk and nothing more. You can have a good time if you come with company but I wouldn’t suggest this place for females or family unlike the other B&R down the road.Overall, a good place to hang out with but I’d prefer the other joint down the road as my first choice.

Given that it is located deep inside the Tippasandra market, you cannot expect anything more than liquor and food – I mean you can’t expect much in the line of ambience and sophistication. So, the idea is to focus on the booze and grub and conversations (if you have companions). They serve booze by the quarter, which is a plus for those who want to seriously drink. And the prices are totally reasonable – I use this word with great care in this age of sky-rocketing prices. The best part of this bar is the terrace on the second floor. It has earthen lamp shades hung from the ceiling and broad bay seats along the wall. That’s the point, you know? Even these bars that look shady from the outside usually have one or two signs of sophistication and artiness. I took a book along and sat on the bay seat, downing a quarter of Khodays leisurely. My bill – a quart of rum and a couple of snacks – came to Rs. 290/-. Did I say reasonable? There was a mild buzz of conversation around me; it did not ever get raucous. At every table, I found a group of people totally engaged with themselves and their booze. Which is how it should be, right? Go for it. Check it out at least once, leaving your hoity-toity expectations at home. 🙂 You will enjoy this place.
One cannot expect any kind of good ambience or decent crowd here. It is of 2 floors where they will serve alcoholic drinks with food. I have tried the food here and it’s very tasty with an added spiciness as everyone expects here. Food is very good but the ambience and cleanliness has to be improved.
Food over here is usually made very spicy (even salad) since hardcore alcoholics dig that. Place is 2 floors with rooftop seating area and tables on terrace is recommended as it’s clean, spacious and there’s room for air circulation for non smokers. Overall it’s value for money with nothing much to complain
