I stumbled upon this place during my first week in Bangalore while I was house hunting. I stopped for a chai and snack and ended up trying 7-8 different items, they were that good.
Tried a Sunday lunch after going through the reviews. Lunch couldn’t impress me even the beef fry which I ordered separately. As reviews speaks a lots on their snacks, I will certainly try next time.
A regular at this place for the last one year. They open at about 11 in the morning and close by about 8/9 in the evening. They are known for their delicious Kerala snacks. At any point of time during the day, you will have 7 to 8 varieties of Kerala snacks to choose from. Right from the usual Banana Fry, Masala Vada , Veg Cutlet, Onion Vada, Bread Pakoda, Sugiyan to the not so common Elanji, Ela ada, Pazham Pattari etc. These and tea/coffee/lemon tea is available through out the day. During lunch hours, you also get biryani and Kerala meals wrapped in banana leaf. They also have Dosa, Porotta, Appam along with chicken and veg curries. But all these are served in limited quantities and get over very fast. Waiting for them to start serving non veg snacks.

This place is just at the right place in New Thippasandra Main Road market. This place is seven days packed and pulls the crowd belonging to all age groups. You can customise your beverage and dig into lip-smacking snacks. They also serve hearty meals for lunch. I love this place for two reasons: you can find interesting strangers to converse and feel the essence of Kerala in every breath you take. There is a long list of food they serve and trust me when I say each dish is better than the other.Thattukada is an unmatchable experience as is the staff working there!
