  Southindies is a pure vegetarian restaurant that aims to serve the delicacies from the 4 south indian states with 30 different flavours. This is the first south Indian buffet that I have been to.Ambiance:-Located on the first floor.-Hanging diyas are a pleasant display right when we enter the place.-Huge and spacious.-Pop songs from late 90s and 2000s are played in background.Service:-Courteous and attentive.-Reservations are accepted.Food:——Starters:-Atom bomb: Was confused whether this was a starter or dessert. Tasted like a combination of vanilla icecream, hajmola and curd!-Dal soup: Decent, not bad.-Pani puri: Have never had puris this crispy in Bangalore! this was served with alu smash and 4 different flavors(tomato, pineapple, dal, mint) of rasam instead of pani-Paddu and ambode: Have had better!-Goli baje: They don’t make it this good usually in restaurants, wish it was a little less oily.-Cheese pakoda: Filling and very tasty:)-Pudi button idlys: Not at all soft but manageable with delicious chutneys.——Main course:-Appam: So fluffy and white-> The best I have had till date, A must try:)-Paratha: Average but went well with sambar and Kerala style Kai Kari stew.-Curd rice: Tasted sour! ——Desserts:-Everything from gulab jamun, fruit custard, elneer(tender coconut) payasam and strawberry mousse were all delicious:)Coffee: This was watery and tasted terrible as per my friend. Avoid it!Conclusion:-Food was mildly spiced and little bland for my tastebuds.-It’s apt if one is looking for moderately priced South Indian buffet.Food: 3.5/5Service: 4.5/5Ambiance: 4/5QFM: 3/5
