In 19th Centaury it’s a tradition to give free shelter and food to the visitors in Bangalore. After that in 1920 first non Brahmin hotel came up with the word Military hotel which denotes protein rich food in term of non veg to the warrior class. But some of the hotels did not serve pork and beef in their menu. They are well known as Hindu Military hotel. Vani Hindu military hotel is not that old but the cuisine is in same kind. It’s a straight no for veg only. But paradise for meat lovers. As all other military hotels they serve some good quality meat dishes at a nominal price. But their food is little bit spicy if you compare all other Bangalore food. Price is well worth what they are serving with quick service. Bon Appetite @Chef BB chefbb.in
