Stepped in here on sunday for dinner. Place was quite crowded bcz of Sunday, but still they managed well for a good service with delicious food. This place gives me the authentic dhaba style feel with desi flavours n punjabi bits.I loved soya chaap and achari chicken tikka. Rara chicken was so juicy, it goes well with the roti basket but my star dish of that night was baigan bharta. They have delicious dal makhani and saag. Gajar ka halwa, churi and the softest gulab jamun, couldn’t get enough of it.
Visited this amazing Punjabi dhaba style place last week. Bhatinda junction is a well known name in Bangalore when it comes to authentic Punjabi food. Talking about their decor it’s very simple and fresh with some amazing Punjabi tracks playing at the back. Talking about the food we have ordered Lassi , they prepared in front of us from fresh curd. Talking about the food I really liked their masala papad and roti basket. Now let’s come to dessert their gulab jamuns are really soft , it melts in the month. Must say this place serves amazing authentic Punjabi food. Must try once.
If you are craving for some dhaba food, this is the place to go. On the busy HSR layout, this place is an open air restaurant, with basic interiors. The focus is on authentic Punjabi food, which are the best here. Started off with a lassi, achari paneer and masala papad, all of which were served fresh and hot. Mains consisted of rotis with Sarson ka sag, which i tasted for the first time. A fan of this now. Ended off with a gulab jamoon which was a delight as well.An overall 5 on 5.
Started off with masala papad. Loved how they garnish it with Paneer and they actually fry the papad instead of roasting it and the overall dish was quite good. Chased it with butter milk which was quite refreshing too.Next up in the starters had chicken Tikka which was a bit tough . Honey chilly garlic chicken was quite good and it did hit the right taste. Something one must try. Next up had the chicken pakora which was also decent .The main course was their best. The sumptuous Dal Makhani , sarson da saag , makki ki roti are my personal favourites. Also liked the butter chicken which was quite creamy and went well with phulka!Dal Makhani was their signature dish and one must try that out .Lastly finished our meal with some gulab jamun and gazar ka halwa which were okayish!Overall a good place to dine in!
Love for north indian food can never end and this place is the closest to good and affordable north indian food here in Bangalore. Ambience is more like of a dhaba and more on a chill end.The starters recommended :▪️Chilli Chicken▪️Honey Chili Chicken▪️Masala papadThe mains are the ones you should definitely try. The recommended ones are▪️Butter Chicken with lacha paratha▪️Saag with Makke Roti▪️Rara ChickenThe place is very easy on pockets and can fill you up easily. A must try here. foodndestinations.com
I have always been a fan of north Indian cuisine and when you get the authentic taste of all the dishes, it’s definitely a win-win. My dinner at this place last night was a delicious affair.Bathinda Junction has been in place since more than four years now with the first outlet in Koramangala. The one at HSR is almost 2.5years old. A mix of dhaba and restaurant setup, this place has got options for both chairs and cots to provide the desi dhaba look.▫️▫️▫️▫️We started off with the butter milk and lassi which were quite refreshing. The lassi especially was thick and minimal sweetness just the way it’s made in North India. From the starters, we tried soya chaap, chicken pakoda, paneer tikka and achari chicken tikka. I loved the chicken pakoda truly. Tender chicken chunks were soft from the inside and quite crispy from the outside. Also, we had the honey garlic chicken which was simply appetizing with a hint of sweet and spicy flavour. Then came the main course. An assorted platter of Indian breads to choose from Butter naan, phulka, lachha paratha and makke di roti. To complement it were served sarso da saag, rara chicken, butter chicken and dal makhani. The butter chicken was outstanding and the chicken was melting in mouth. Dal makhani was quite decent too but sarso da saag truly took my heart. I had never tasted such delicious saag before. Finally, to end the meal, we had some yummy gulab jamun and gajar ka halwa. Both were perfectly prepared and tasted heavenly.▫️▫️▫️▫️Overall, it’s an amazing place to try out the authentic North Indian flavours. The pricing is decent enough and the staff is polite and well behaved. The place was crowded which definitely gives an evidence of the delicious food served here.
