Heartbreaker – A quirky name for sure – and at first sight you would get a though why such a name for a great place like this?Hold on folks! Even I was curious about this whenever I pass by this place and had this question to myself, finally paid a visit to this casual dine in resto pub which has got some amazing vibes.(Reason they named it Heartbreaker – the team here says that they have made sure a patron who is either heartbroken due to breakup or feeling low can come over to this place and they would assure you would be returning back home with smile on your face and contended that’s the motto behind this place, spread those positive vibes to one and all)Ambiance – 3.5/5The moment you step in you would be greeted with a warm smile and the staff would ask you for your preference. And make sure you are seated comfortably. The place has dim lighting, and pretty decent interiors. Seating options are good on one side we have sofas which are comfortable for families and groups, on other side we have stools which are good for college crowd or group of friends. It is massive and spread across 4 floors, they have a huge bar counter on the second floor and DJ spinning in some groovy numbers during weekends. So do not worry they have got you covered where in one can tap your feet to those numbers and indulge in some good cocktails and finger food.Cocktails – 3.5/5We tried Negroni and Old FashionedNegroni was pretty strong to my linking but again had the balance of – gin, vermouth, Campari. And it is garnished with orange peel. Good oneOld Fashioned was made well by muddling sugar with bitters and adding whiskey to it. Garnished with orange rands made this look appealing.Food – 4/5We started off with appetizers and then tried few mains. Here is my opinion about their food offeringsDahi ke shole – This stole the show, has right amount of texture, crispiness and elements in it. This is made with hungcurd and simple spices coated with breadcrumbs and deep fried. Loved the crispy texture of this one.Do give this one a try for sure.Veg tacos- Impressive one, simple tacos filled with loads of veggies.Paneer tikka – A simple one made with cottage cheese cubes tossed with simple spices grilled in tandoor, mint chutney given along is great.Veg nachos – Nachos topped with cheese and loaded with goodness of cream, guacamole, onions and some olives. Dips given along were delicious. Then we choose to try few mainsFlorentine pizza- A humble thin crust pizza topped with good amount of cheese, bell peppers, olives and broccoli, goes well with beer. Paneer makhani – Pretty decent one – the paneer is really soft and has fine balance of gravy, but was a bit too sweet for my liking.Daal Makhani – This is one was tad perfect and had the richness and fine creamy texture of daal cooked for long time in simple spices. Do try this one for sure if you are at Heartbreaker.Veg biryani – this is pretty good in terms of taste prepared with long grain basmati rice cooked well and then topped with caramelized fried onions, both the accompaniment’s mirchi ka salan and curd raitha are good. Service – 4/5 staff here are attentive, take orders on time and make sure we have a good dining experience out there. There was a slight delay in few orders but I still give it to them.VFM – 4/5They have got some descent cocktails paired with vast menu that you can choose from.A bit on the pricier side of it, but otherwise they have done a good job in curating the dishes which has a mix of Indian, continental, Chinese and others to offer you.Final verdict go for it – if you are in and around HSR and in search of a new place for a good memorable dining experience do head here. krantiawelltravelledgourmand.wordpress.com

Food was not very great. Service was really really slow like a snail and hardly was there any crowd that day. Definitely not going back again. Anything we asked them from the drinks menu they did not have:(

On 27th main road, comes another nice restaurant called Heartbreaker. I visited on a Sunday afternoon with couple of my friends and had a good experience here. We had pahadi murgh and oyster chilli chicken both were decent in taste. They can improve upon the nachos and cheese poppers abit. I had virgin mojito, which was good not very sweet as I had requested it.In main course, we had bhuna gosht with naan and it was awesome. The mutton was cooked really well, bit oily but perfectly spicy. Few of my friends had veg pizza, and they were happy about it.We ended our meal with Kesar phirni. They have huge seating capacity and it can easily accommodate large groups. Will try the place on some evening as well.

Did not have a great experience except the stuffed mushroom tikka. Nonveg tandoor platter is too expensive and not worth for the quality and taste. Dimsum was good. Many items were mor available from the menu. Being a new place they still need to improve.

Well the mystery behind this name was unfolded by the owner. It is because we had broken someone’s heart at some point of time in our life, hence this name, not because you come to this place for drinks once you’re heart broken (Thank God!)So this is a 4 floor pub, well lit and strategically positioned! We had 1. kacche aloo ki tikki2. Crispy corn3. Caesars salad4. Murgh tikka5. Chilli Paneer6. Chilli chicken7. Margherita pizza8. Noodles9. Pork nachos10. Pasta in white sauceFor drinks, we had whiskey sour. Perfectly balanced. The only part which can be improved is their service. Might be because we were a bit huge in number, so orders were taking time and the guy got confused while taking/bringing orders, otherwise it was fine.
