Away from hometown and looking for authentic Maharashtra food?? Well this place can be a quick solution. Not complete but somewhat satisfaction you can expect from this place. Food is tasty but overpriced menu. Ambience is nice, One can hop on for Sunday lunch with family or friends. Overall good experience. Cheers & thanks!!!

Had been missing Maharashtrian style food from quite some time and that’s how I decided to visit Purnabrahma for a meal.Ambience- 4/5Staff- 4/5Food- 3.5/5Slightly over priced
Edited review after visiting again after almost 4 years. The food tasted great. A tad bit spicy. We ordered quite a variety from pav vada, misal pav, sabudana vada, ghavan which is a rice roti, to up upvas roti which was delicious, and the zunka bhakar combo. Drinks were kokum and solkadhi which were good and dessert was basundi which was not good at all.We sat on the floor in typical maharashtra style seating, the staff was courteous. Food is well priced. So why did I pull down my rating from a 2 to a 1? We’ve all had an upset stomach!!! And that for anyone is unacceptable. I don’t know whether it’s the hygiene not being maintained or the spices used wreaked havoc. From my child to my husband to my mil and me, we’ve all had various degrees of upset systems. Not going back here again or if we do I’m sticking to the upvas roti.***********************************************We’re from Bombay, we crave a good misal and vada pav and hence came here, with rather high hopes. The misal was decent, too spicy for my palate. I give the misal a 3/5. The vada pav is strictly okay. They get the pav right for sure. The dampner was the sabudana vada. It was spoilt, had turned sour and smelt odd. The owner was gracious enough to have it checked and admit it was spoilt, he even offered to have a fresh batch prepared which I appreciate but once them taste buds are affected, you don’t really fancy a second shot.Husband ordered a piyush which he said was just about okay. I leave dissatisfied. The plus is a gracious owner, he was really nice to us.Ambience 3/5Staff 4/5Food 2/5Will I go back-I have my doubts.
