Green Park Restaurant situated inside The Grand Maurya Hotel in Hunsur Road Highway. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements, Clean Ambience, Polite staffs, Smiling, some were very friendly and cooperative.Coming to food we had ordered Pepper Chicken, Chicken Maramari, Paneer Tikka, Veg Fried Rice and one more Chicken dish. Out of all Chicken Maramari was yum (Must try) and rest is all fine.A very nice place to hangout with friends and family.
This restaurant is located inside the Grand Maurya Resort on the Mysore to Virajpet road. We had stayed at the resort, so had dinner and breakfast there. The restaurant has an open plan with terracotta tiled roofs and open at the sides to enjoy the Mysore climate. The only problem was the mosquito menance in the evenings, though they have coils placed around. The waiters are super friendly and helpful in choosing from their extensive menu. You can also have a drink along with your food though they have a separate Bar on the premises too.We had the Lung Fung Chicken Soup which came with mounds of whipped egg white which certainly delivers a wow factor. We went with the waiter’s suggestion which had Karuvepillai Chicken Tikka which was so moist and juicy and the crushed curry leaf marinade added the extra oomph to it. Surely a must try item. Nest came the Fish Manchurian and Chicken 88 which was a Chinese stir fry starter, which were both equally good. We were pretty full by then but decided to plug the remaining space with chicken fried rice.Overall a very good meal.
The restaurant used to be good. The quality has declined with time. Now It’s like a game of luck you may or may not get good food and good service. It’s completely unreliableToday’s was the worst experience so far.A particular over-enthusiastic was getting food quicker for his tables and stepping on other ordersThe food we received after a long longg wait was below average and totally not worth the cost or the wait
Good food especially the chicken fried rice . Service is also pretty fast . They have nice soups too . The ambience is probably the best thing here , that’s probably because it’s part of a resort like place
It’s a nice place with decent ambiance, and situated amidst greenery. The place has both outside and indoors seating. The food was quite good. We ordered chicken curry, soup, and rotis. We were not disappointed by the chicken at all. The meal was very sumptuous and delicious. Would want to come back and try out more dishes.
Food: 3.5/5Ambiance: 3.5/5Service: 3.5/5This place is better known as Grand Maurya rather than the ‘Green Park’. I say this because I’ve been to this place about five times before and never knew it’s name is Green Park. It’s actually a part of the Grand Maurya resorts and that’s how everyone knows it.It’s not a very fine dining restaurant, it’s just okay but definitely better than a lot of mediocre price restaurants in Mysore since it falls in the same cateagory. The place has two adjacent, similar looking halls and one hall that’s a bit distant (like 20 metres). Two of them serve alcohol and one strictly doesn’t.The food here is good. All the starters are prepared pretty well and have proper flavours. Although the curries more or less taste the same. I won’t say that they taste bad but when you order two different dishes, you expect them to taste different. Biryani is also good here. One thing not to try here is Cherry Cheese Pineapple. It still is a joke amongs the team about when we ordered it.
It used to be a landmark restaurant with very close proximity to Mysore palace. Over years things have gone from good to bad to worse. The seating used to give good view of roads and clean parks. Now the seats are so old and have not been refurbished over years that there is a high chance of getting breathing problem if you sit there for a while.Food is average but one can get multi cuisine food here and that is a small advantageAsk them not to use colours. Green and red colours they use in food can put you off. Staff is indifferent but still professional enough so as not to hate them
