We visited this place for an invite to try new additions on their menu. We were served a huge spread of items from starters to desserts in both veg and non veg. We loved almost all the dishes! They were unique and deliciously made. Our favourites in starters were Tandoori prawns, kumb nazakath and Al fahm. In main course we loved Chicken malabar roast and Dal Makhni. And for desserts, Shahi Tukda was undoubtedly the show stopper!A great dining experience with amazing food.
WHERE? Coast Asia, Manipal Commercial Building, Near Canara Mall.WHAT? Your typical Muti-cuisine Restaurant.HOW MUCH? Rs. 250-350 per person. The Malabar Parotta from Picture 1 wasn’t the best, not even close, but, it did satisfy my craving for some flaky Parottas. The Egg Curry was pretty good, too. The Malabar Chicken Curry (or something like that!) was the simplest and most straightforward one but, also the most satisfying! The Neer Dosa from picture 2 is the soul food you are looking for but, the Nilgiri Navratna Kurma that came with it reminds one a tad bit of the Pudina Chutney that we get with our dosas back in Chennai. The desserts are a Mini Gud-bud and a Double Chocolate Mousse-which was basically a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chunks of brownie, topped with chocolate sauce. There was no mousse to be found!
